We moved the chair in the corner by the table and all underneath it and behind it was full of dead bugs where the maids had not bothered to pull out and sweep behind of underneath it. My nephew was 4 doors down and went to take a shower but had no shower curtain. Seems that this place is going down hill a little since new owners took over."

"We visited this property as a family with two simple expectations: a clean, quiet room for a good night's sleep, and a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, the hotel fell short on both counts. The Room & Sleep Quality Throughout the entire night, there was a persistent, keeping-us-awake noise coming from the AC vent. Because we were only staying for a single night, we decided against asking for a room change. Packing up all of our luggage and moving the family to a different room—especially from the second floor—is just too much of a hassle late at night. We shouldn't have had to choose between a noisy room and the exhaustion of moving. The Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was equally disappointing, largely due to the staff. The lady managing the area seemed to be doing things completely on her own timeline. Essential items were left empty and weren't refilled. The food itself was the standard, uninspired hotel fare—scrambled eggs, biscuits, fruit, and yogurt—but it was the dismissive attitude of the server that really ruined the meal. A property can have all the potential in the world, but poor maintenance and indifferent service will completely ruin a family stay. We won't be returning."

"My room was so clean only issue was being on the end of the hallway on 2nd floor. Road traffic was terrible. Staff did offer to move me, but only 1 more night I wasn't going to move and then staff have another room to clean because of me. All the staff cleaning were amazing!! Breakfast was good. Let's talk parking..... Only one thing I didn't care for, is It didn't look so good using water hose and washing motorcycles off in parking lot. Water, dirt, and mud !!! I was a guest too as they were also. I paid for my stay as well as they did. The hotel seemed to cater to the motorcycles, nothing wrong with that other than other guest had to park or go around all them every time entering or existing the parking area. But I'd stay at this hotel again if I visit again. I've stayed at this hotel several times."

"While the room was clean, but the door didn’t seal tight. You could see the light from the hallway all around the door. the floors near and in the elevator were really dirty. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was adequate. They had scrambled eggs, sausage,Waffles, and bread items etc… For one night, it was ok. In my opinion, The Newport area seemed a little sketchy."

"Was drawn here by the piece and the water out back. One of the cheaper options I had found. King bed was suitably large, room clean AC/Heater seemed somewhat loud but didn't prevent us from sleeping. We arrived after 130 - I'd previously messaged that we would be later as I'd forgotten to account for time zone change. Staff didn't seem bent that we arrived that late, we had to ring doorbell for service. Good water pressure with shower, excellent water temp. The only 2 "detractors" were my dad's room was missing a component of his coffee maker and we had went to check the office for coffee but the door was locked. At the time each of us decided to just return to our rooms. I would stay here again, probably exercise better time management to get here early enough to see the waterfall nearby and chill outside by the creek more."
