"This was a good 'home base' for our family while in Decatur. We wished we'd had more time to enjoy the 'toys'."

"We picked this rental for our first big family vacation — 15 people, 4 families, and a whole lot of opinions — based on the size and location. But what we got was so much more… and miraculously, no one wanted to go home early!Everything in the listing is spot on — for once, the pictures didn’t lie. Honestly, the only thing we would change is adding a teleportation device so we could come back faster.Wendy & Ken were absolute rockstars. Communication was a breeze, and they’ve thought of everything — like, we’re talking Mary Poppins-level prepared. You seriously never have to leave the house (which is great, because rounding up 15 people to go anywhere is basically herding cats).The kids (and the dads, let’s be honest) were obsessed with all the water toys, and the men turned into BBQ chefs overnight thanks to all the outdoor cooking gear. Pretty sure we saw one of them cry tears of joy over a smoker. (Just kidding…or am I?)We had such a blast, we rebooked before we left. Next year, we’re staying longer and possibly applying for squatter’s rights. Sorry, we love it too much.Bottom line: if you’re considering renting from Wendy & Ken, DO IT. Just don’t take our week next year. We’ve claimed it. It’s ours now."

"Very comfortable stay; some confusing information. Before arriving, received a text about checking in online early, and in that process it stated pets were not allowed; however I had booked the site primarily because they allowed dogs and I was traveling with mine. When I got to the hotel I went to the desk and asked about pets; they do in fact allow pets. There was very littlte presence at the front desk. I stopped in to check out in the morning but no one was available. about half hour after leaving I got a text to check out online (not particularly convenient when driving). The hotel was great for the price but the management processes just a bit inconvenient."

"Wonderful property with excellent amenities, a great location, and a wonderful host. He responded promptly. The caretaker for the property was next door and was available to extend her services when needed."

"We had a great stay! Came for a relaxing weekend and family get together. Everything was very clean and orderly. Plenty of kitchen gadgets and supplies along with towels and linens. The beds weren’t the comfiest to sleep on but they served their purpose. We enjoyed playing in the game room and relaxing in the hot tub. The sunroom was used very often as well and gave a nice place to grab some family pictures."

"We had 6 ladies who shared this house for 2 nights. It was a good location close to our conference location and dining needs. We will definitely consider this house in the future. It is on a main road so there was a bit of traffic noise but it let up later into the evening. We were easily able to accommodate ourselves with the 1.5 baths. Rosa was always available to answer my questions and very quick to respond. "
