A little far from from the seafront but the hosts were fantastic and the guesthouse was great

Wonderful hosts, great breakfast each day. Very down to earth and friendly guesthouse

Our stay was amazing! Hosts Claire and Steve were fantastic, friendly, cooked a plentiful, scrumptious breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble! They had a wealth of local knowledge which was very handy. Our room was extremely clean, and our bed was very comfy! We were recently married and our hosts left a beautiful bottle of red wine and a card in our room which was so thoughtful:) we will definitely be staying at The Clifton on Paignton when in England next.

This property is 10/10 for everything. Location, staff, rooms and the food. A truly lovely experience.

We can highly recommend Mount Edgcombe. It is warm, roomy and very clean. Pam is a wonderful hostess who made us very welcome

Wonderful atmosphere in the hotel. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The host was very knowledgable about the area and gave us good advice on ferries, dining options and local attractions and walks/hikes. We would definitely recommend to others and would stay again if we were in the area.

Very comfortable hotel and kind and helpful staff. Conveniently located close to the train station and other main attractions.

Raj the host was vey helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. A excellent breakfast provided as well.

Wendy and Steve were the perfect hosts. The rooms were very comfortable, the freshly cooked breakfast was amazing, and the local knowledge was extremely helpful. The added bonus of freshly baked cake was very welcom also.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed overnight as we drove along the coast in summer. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. Our hosts were marvellous. They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed having a chat with them in the evening and would happily recommend their beautiful place as a great place to stay.

Great little place. The new owner, Sue was a breath of fresh air. New to the trade but eager to please her guests. Place was a little run down however it was clean and comfortable and brekkie was great. Car parking available and easy to walk around to local eateries. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!! Hope to visit again to see how Sue adds her charm to the place.
