Wendy and Steve were the perfect hosts. The rooms were very comfortable, the freshly cooked breakfast was amazing, and the local knowledge was extremely helpful. The added bonus of freshly baked cake was very welcom also.

Well situated above the town, easy parking onsite. Lovely large room and fabulous breakfast. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Torquay.

The Burburry hotel a great choice

Just got back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Burburry hotel. The hosts Wendy and Steve made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was amazing, the room was clean and well decorated, they also had a honesty bar well stocked with wine spirits and a selection of beers and soft drinks, again a well decorated bar area and snug ,it felt very comfortable. We usually sat outside in the garden which was very pretty and well maintained.The hotel had parking but we parked in the street ouside the hotel which had plenty of spaces available. It was about a 10 min relatively flat walk to the beach and 15 min to bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Just got back from a great two night stay at The Berburry. Hosts Wendy and Steve are lovely very welcoming and nothibgvtoo much trouble. The rooms and general areas are impeccably clean, the breakfasts were beautiful, plenty of locally sourced food, very filling, and the homemade yogurts are beautiful. Katrina and her daughter were just amazing to welcome us. Katrina was helping all guests for their accommodation and heling in the kitchen with a great and real smile which anyone could see behind the mask where her daughter was helping with the breakfast in a most pleasant manner and we would like to stay their again. One of the downfall is the softest spring mattress.

Lovely Stay
