"There are 2 sides to Budapest….this hotel is on the Buda side. Get a room on the Danube side with a deck so you can sit & admire the beautiful Parliment buildings across the Danube!! At night when it’s lit up…WOW! Not as many choices of cafes or restaurants on the Buda side. We used the BOLT app to get a taxi to pick us up and take us to the Pest side. They navigated through the very narrow/busy streets. The rooms are very plain but your out exploring all day. Great selection at breakfast. Highly recommend including breakfast in your reservation! The Buda side is definitely quieter than the Pest side."

"Just a block from the Salzburg Hbf, this hotel has several nice features: modern rooms, lots of greenery, separated recycling, bicycle rentals available ... and even a free apple to take away as you explore the city. However, there were a few annoyances: no electric kettle with coffee or tea in the room, and only an expensive breakfast buffet available rather than an a la carte option. I also disliked filling in my own registration information on an unfamiliar touchscreen form while two reception clerks stood there and waited for me to complete it."

"This is an excellent place to stay especially for extended stays. You get exactly everything you need with the best staff support. The location is ideal with well connected tram and underground stops less than 10min walk away— you can be across the river or in the city in 15min. The surrounding area is safe and quiet with a few pretty decent food spots. The room itself is cleans daily and the free laundromat service was so appreciated! (Note here that it’s shared with college students so it can be a bit of a wait at peak times). Overall it’s great quality for the price. I would highly recommend"

"Stayed here for a conference at the VIECON for 4 nights. Really enjoyed it overall. All the staff were lovely. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and thoroughly enjoyed the food - the waiter was very pleasant and helpful, explaining some of the local dishes to us. The breakfast was also 5*, so much choice, really fresh and some great healthy options as well as alternative milks without having to ask. The hotel itself was clean and modern, the rooms were great, everything you could need including a plug next to a full length mirror, iykyk! An alarm clock with a wireless charger and a hair dryer that actually had a diffuser end! All little details but very much appreciated. Also noticed how quiet it was, despite the hotel being full which was so nice. One down side - it was about a 20 min walk to the conference centre and 20-25 mins in a taxi to the 'main' cultural centre, so felt a bit out on a limb. It was fine given the mild weather but the local transport is a walk away too so wasn't worth using for the distance."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Corinthia. Very nice and spacious room, with spa access which we visited daily. Great location, too and 7 min walk from New York Cafe which I'd also recommend as it's stunning."
