"The High Range hotel was a great spot to stay if you are looking for a home base for hiking in the area. We found it to be very well-maintained and well-equipped for our needs. All the staff we spoke to were so friendly and so helpful. It’s also located just a short walk into Aviemore, which is super convenient if you want to eat out, pick up snacks, or just browse."

"This is a fairly new property and this is reflected in the modern decor, and clean & smart set up. No staff on site but arrangements communicated beforehand in terms of property access and room key collection were faultless. Parking on site so no issues with proximity. We did not have breakfast (book and pay separately if required). River runs behind the property so soothing sound of running (nay rushing) water throughout. Only issue was the green light (fire regs ?) meant the room was not dark at night (recommend you take an eye mask as my wife did)"

My room was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. Being on the side of the road my room rattled a little when a big vehicle passed but not a huge issue! A lovely stay and would look to book this again!"
