"Everything was perfect, from the friendly check in by Neil to our check out by a lovely lass whose name I have sadly forgotten The breakfast was superb. The room spacious and clean. We were in room 4 and the only downside, for me, having a sensitive sense of smell was being woken in the comfy bed by the strong smell of bleach, it was even worse in the breakfast area. It did not bother my husband at all. If I stayed again, I would ask for a room higher up, or further away from the bar area and not have the breakfast, lovely as it was, I would eat elsewhere. There must be cleaning products that do not smell so unpleasant. Such a shame. I give it 5 stars because others may not be bothered by the bleach. "

"Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area."

"Cozy 🙂 We had an amazing stay at Chapel Cottage. The Cottage is gorgeous, attention to detail is lovely. Very nicely decorated and perfect for 2 couples or a small family. The Beds are huge and so comfortable.. There are wardrobes in both rooms and a dressing table in the top room, all beautiful wood furniture.. I would suggest anyone with any mobility problems stay on the 2nd Floor as the steps up to Bedroom on 3rd Floor are a little Steep.. The shower is awesome and the kitchen is small and compact with everything you need... Location was excellent, right in the middle of the centre, close to all amenities and some lovely walks...There is parking for one right in front of the cottage on a small driveway, for a medium sized car but anything bigger would struggle, but literally just round the corner, not even 20 yds, you can park too but first come first serve. The log burner was so cozy and the living room so comfortable. It really is a little gem and we would definitely return 😀. A big thumbs up from us... "
