"Room was really clean, the staff were super nice really enjoyed my interactions with them. The onsen was great. Wish I spent more time there, the sauna was super hot. The buffet is a big thing there but that for me was the weakest part of the experience. "

"Decent hotel. Very good staff (Filipina lady was most helpful). The town is underwhelming. The wineries don’t cater to visitors like you may be used to. "

"The hotel is a little dated, decore-wise, but everything is very clean and the Onsen are very nice (we're first time users). Staff are very helpful! Would stay here again."

"Stayed here on a family holiday in 2 double rooms. Convenient location as we were driving and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Dining options are available nearby; the sushi place directly across the road is excellent! Would be happy to recommend to others who would like a slightly unusual place to stay "

"The room was very clean. The free shuttle bus service is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Plenty to eat. Good trails to walk. A very good stay"
"We had a very pleasant and wonderful stay at Ryokan. The excellent service, especially the kaiseki-style breakfast and dinner, provided us with an unforgettable experience full of Japanese culture. The Japanese-style hot spring bath is nice to have. Also the surrounding areas are beautiful with the view of Mt Fuji.
We do have two small suggestions: First, the strong tatami smell in the room might be improved with some light incense. Second, the large key for the room door was a bit inconvenient to use."
"Quite location with friendly staff, within 10 minutes walking distance of the bus drop off location. Our mountain view room had Tatami Mats, which was a neat experience. "
"The food is wonderful! As a chain hotel , i wasn't expected the stay, but turns out both dinner and breakfast was above expectation and outperformed other traditional ryokan in my opinion. "
