"We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!"

"The 2 of us came up here with our 2 dogs for a long weekend. The cabin was just as pictured and had everything we needed from a fan in the master to toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and the gas grill was even ready to go! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake, sunsets and sunrises, long walks on the beach and we were even lucky enough to catch a small glimpse of the northern lights! "Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. "The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! "The beds were very comfortable. The food at the snack bar was delicious and so was the food in the big restaurant for Mothers Day. The omelet was so well done. Just right. Our granddaughter loved the biscuits and doughnuts. I just didn't like parking so far away and walking over the bridge"
