Very nice room; comfortable bed; very walkable with convenience store across the street and many restaurants and bars nearby. I would definitely return for another stay.
Booked a stay for 5 nights at this hotel through Expedia. Got a good deal (I thought) on a 'Superior Triple Room' which was to come with 1 x queen size and 1 x double size bed. There was supposed to be a balcony and the room pictures indicated that the bathroom was well lit with a bathtub and a glass shower box. What I got was certainly not that.
We arrived late on the evening of our first night and were provided a small room with two single beds. The bathroom looked to be newly renovated/not complete. It was exposed concrete. It was a dingy not well lit room with a shower curtain for the shower right next to the toilet with a small sink behind it. The complimentary shampoo was empty - and there wasn't anything that remotely resembled a balcony.
I was too exhausted to speak to the front desk that evening and so the following morning I went down to try and explain to them that the room was not what I booked. Unfortunately, they couldn't understand really anything I was saying, just that I wanted to "Change Rooms". They swapped my partner and I into a new, smaller, room with 1 double bed. The bathroom was a huge improvement but it was still just a curtain next to the toilet. The window is opened by house keeping each day while they clear and on the second night when I was showering I didn't fail to notice the large cockroach staring pleasantly back at me. I don't mind this in general, but I can imagine if my partner had been showering it would have been a different story.
