"really wonderful apartment seaside views, easy walking to stores/restaurants and shopping. easy access to Bayeux without the congestion. great fish market around the corner, great tea/coffee store and wine store. amazing location. exceptionally clean and well appointed-more than anticipated! the host was fabulous and so responsive!! she answered questions before we came, during the stay and even offered to make dinner reservations for us-she went out of her way with hospitality. great shower, wash machine and plenty of towels. I would recommend english instructions on how to use the induction stove top for those of us used to gas stovetops. would highly recommend this location, apartment and host. great stay, thanks!"

Evident much thougt went into the decor to rflect the sea and harbor.Regina met us ar check-in and reviewed all the essentials.Literally on the harbor and enjoyed warching the activity and coming/going of the fishing boats. Shops andrestaurants in both directions. Fabulous Sunday market literally outside the front door.Regina was a wonderful responsive host.Highly recommend for multiple folk or family with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Would definitely return. "What a great location and nice town. The town had a lot to offer in terms of convenience, nice restaurants, a great fish market, and a major grocery store - rare for many of the other towns on the coast. Our host was so friendly, accommodating and helpful. This is one of the nicer Vrbo we have stayed at with a great kitchen, nice view, comfortable beds. Geraldine had coffee and many staples available for our use. Parking was super easy and location easy to find. Thank you for a great stay"

"Great place in great location on a hill overlooking the harbour and as a working lighthouse it is quite quirky. Very well located to visit a number of WW2 beaches, batttlefields and memorials which is why we were there. Also a short distance from the medieval town of Bayeux. Port en Bessin itself quite small but some very good restaurants and a couple of bars. As we were there early in the season some of the restaurants were closed but enough for us to try a different restaurant on all four nights we were there. We were a party of 4 male adults and found the house very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Maison du Phare."
