"Fantastic position, right on the harbour, with shops (bakery, fish market, small supermarket) and good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Parking was easy right outside, but we did use the garage. Further afield there was lots to see. Bayeux is close by, while we visited Arromanches-les-Bains and Pegasus Bridge, plus the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer. This was not a planned ‘D-day’ visit but it really gripped (and moved) me. "

We also appreciated Geraldine's tips on getting around and the local options. There is also a little market 1 block away that is fantastic...they are very kind to those that are not fluent in French.
