"The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right in the middle of the main street with lots of dining options nearby. The hotel was also quiet and had a spacious breakfast area. We enjoyed the World War II artifacts throughout the hotel. It was like a mini museum in the hotel. There was also a little grocery store right next-door, which was handy for getting water bottles and snacks. The hotel also offered a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel and the meeting place for our World War II tour was just around the corner from the hotel. It was about a 10 minute flat walk from the train station."

"The staff were wonderful! Everyone spoke English, which made it easy to understand their helpful hints and directions to attractions. The breakfast was great, the bar was excellent and they made us a charcuterie board for dinner when we were too tired to go out after our long tour. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bayeux or anywhere near the D-Day beaches, I highly recommend this hotel."

"We were a family of 6, 3 adults and 3 children (15,14 and 9): the property was ideal for us. Jerome was an excellent host quickly fixing the minor issue we had. The property was as described, clean and well equipped, easy to get to and about 7 minutes from centre of Bayeux where there are lots of good places to eat and a good bi-weekly market. There’s a large area for kids to play in front of the house - if needed! If you need to shop, supermarkets and good boulongeries are close by. Tip: if you want best quality fruit and veg and fish, go to FRESH which is about 7 mins away otherwise Carrefour/ LeClerc are close by. Acid test for us of a place:would we go back? Yes we definitely would"

"Geraldine is a friendly host. What a nice and clean apartment. It is fully equipped; everything you need is there.It wasn't a problem now, but the advertisement states that air conditioning is available, yet that is not true. There are only fans.Furthermore, the beds are on the small side, and perhaps it is a matter of taste, but we didn't find the mattresses very comfortable."
