"Checking in was straight forward with good communication via email on how to do this. Limited car parking but throughout our stay we did not have any issues. The room was beautifully decorated with a lot of character. Ample tea and coffee provided with fruit, pain au chocolate and porridge which was a lovely touch however the cleanliness of cups kettle etc was not so good which was disappointing. The cleaning staff were very friendly and happy to help with any requests we had. Great Central location but our room was located at the front of the building which was noisy with traffic passing but this did not cause to much trouble. I would stay here again. "

"I found my breakfast over cooked i did ask for 2 sigle beds we had but was joined together and it was made up as a double the hotel was very nice plenty of parking a lovely place i would stay again "

"It was a wonderful stay, the room was massive and so clean! It was all arranged so well! The staff was very sweet and professional.. they helped us with genuine care! The food is delicious, and there are walking paths around the property if anyone is interested in any forest trails. There's also a small region for kids to play around. "Clean room, lots of free parking, great location in heart of town and beneath Montgomery Castle. The staff were lovely, food was excellent with priority on using local ingredients and beer and wine. Superb value for money as well. Would not hesitate to return to The Dragon Hotel in future!"

"Over priced and under delivered. Staff were nice tbf, room was £130 + £15 for our dog well over priced for location and quality, no discount for eating in restaurant prices compared to hotel in major city centres, I travel a lot for work and know! Only continental breakfast included absolute joke. Dinner in restaurant again poor Pad Thai must have been left on pass chicken and prawns dry sauce way to thick again dried out. Then told while relaxing with friends hadn’t seen for 5 years to leave at 9.30 and got to bed, ridiculous "

" We stayed in room 17 , the room was decorated in keeping with the theme of the hotel. I was so excited to celebrate my partner’s birthday with at the hotel which I made the staff aware of but nothing was provided to acknowledge this at all. Our room was so cold in the evening and when I told staff they brought us a portable heater. Our bed was whooped on one side. The springs were complete gone. The breakfast and lounge area was the highlight of our stay. It was very good. Overall I would say for the price being charged the hotel needs an upgrade. "
