He met us at the property, welcomed us with a meat and cheese platter, wine and water, and then kindly took us to the store for groceries as our rental car wasn"t coming until the next day. "Location: The house is located outside Castellamare and you will need a car to reach the beaches (which are spectacular, especially Riserva dello Zingaro, 15 mins by car) There are stores and cafe 2-3 mins driving and the center is only 5 mins driving. You cannot really walk anywhere from the house because there is no sidewalk and the road is pretty busy. "Loved the feel of Azzoli apartments, interesting design, comfortable rooms and particularly fond of the roof terrace for breakfast each day and a place to relax of an afternoon or evening as an escape from the heat at street level. It’s also in a terrific location - 5 mins to the port for island ferries, a nearby beach, great food options and shops. Really enjoyed our stay a happy to recommend it. "
