"Charming hosts. Best to have some words of Italian or at least functioning Google Translate for your visit; Elena also speaks French which was helpful! "Had a lovely Stay in this Hotel even though the weather was mid 30s and very very humid, but our rooms were Air Conditioned so that was great. Breakfast was European, plus some very nice extras, and loads of everything. Hotel is lovely and quite, but only 10 minute walk from Scopello, a beautiful little village just up the road. Lovely local Restaurant, bars food excellent everywhere we dined. Extra Nitelife available a short 13 minutes taxi ride away in Castlammare Del Golfo, alot more to see and do, Taxis difficult enough to get without pre booking. But we had no problems. Loved the area, would love to return, food is top notch, and the people are very friendly and helpful."

"5/5 stars for the grounds and location. The outdoor areas were spectacular. We cooked / had dinner in the outdoor kitchen one night. The pool was clean and beautiful day and night. The outdoor showers were awesome. While it was too hot to play tennis, having the court is a great option. All very well kept. The view from the villa is insane. Worth it for the grounds.I will say the villa itself is a bit small and dated - especially the electrical and plumbing. For example, running all of the air conditioners and having the lights on at the same time caused a power outage (which we fixed by resetting the breaker). Also could not flush toilet paper. Not a problem, just somethings to be aware of when staying in an older home out in the mountains. With that being said, the AC worked well (important for us Americans in the summer), the property manager was responsive and helpful, and the villa had what we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a short drive to scopello (incl. tonnara di scopello which we highly recommend) and castelmarre del golfo. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you plan on using the outdoor amenities and want promiximity to nearby attractions. If you plan on being inside a lot, you might want something more updated / spacious."

"This is a beautiful villa with amazing views over the coastline. The communication with Giovanni the host was brilliant, he was very happy to help with any questions we had and gave lots of local recommendations. The villa was very clean and comfortable with lots of room, one thing to note is that two of the bedrooms are outside of the main house. The pool is a great size for a family and very clean. Thank you for the beautiful welcome pack of cakes in the fridge when we arrived! lovely touch. If you are looking for a lovely quiet villa this would be a good choice. You do need a car but there are some great small supermarkets/delicatessen and restaurants within 20 mins drive. Thank you Giovanni and family for making our stay so enjoyable."

The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.The villa itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We especially loved the outdoor shower, the pool and the beautiful outdoor area were perfect for spending sunny days and relaxing evenings. Big plus for the parking right in the front of our doors.We were also greeted with such thoughtful welcome gifts and nice dinners which made our arrival and stay extra special and showed great hospitality.Thank you for making our vacation so fabulous! We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!"
