Half term break
This property is a real gem. We really appreciated the attention to detail in making this stay special. The property itself is beautiful and spacious with lovely views. The wood burner made the autumn stay so homely and a treat to come back to at the end of the day. The girls loved the piano ( a little tuning would make it even better), the games and fantastic large TV. The kitchen had everything needed and more we particularly appreciated the slow cooker. The welcome packages and fresh flowers made us feel very welcome.

Great long weekend stay in a beautiful quiet cottage
My partner, two daughters aged 8 - 10 our staffy and I had a great few days in this beautiful cottage. Susan was an excellent host even before we arrived and we had everything we needed for our stay thanks to the amazing welcome pack. There was plenty for our girls to do as we opted for a stay in break and the cottage was a delight and charm to stay in. We loved it. Thank you.

Lovely Cottage in the Scottish countryside
Perfect cottage for our holiday week! The hostess answered all my questions in a timely manner prior to our arrival, which was instrumental in my trip planning. The charming cottage was well equipped with all amenities - even including bread, milk and eggs! The cottage is located in a beautiful part of the country with pretty local towns nearby. I would definitely return for another wonderful holiday.

Great stay
Just home after a lovely long weekend spent at this property. Great communication with Susan the owner and clear directions for finding the property. Stayed here with two girls aged almost 12 and 14, and they loved all the outdoor and indoor games choices. Dog came too and inner garden was well fenced off and secure. Outer field area we kept him on a long line. Perfect accommodation for what we needed and we’re definitely hoping to be back.

WINDRUSH
We had a lovely stay at Windrush. It is a beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet setting but still close to amenities. The cottage has everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen, log burner, toiletries, xbox, books, games to its own 3 hole golf course. Communication with the owners was great. We hope to return soon.

Very enjoyable - of (f) course*
Had a really enjoyable stay. Couldn't get Netflix to work on the first night so Barry came round to sort it out. Susan was most apologetic but not her fault at all. Appears previous people had changed cables round!! Had good fun on the mini golf even though we spent more time *off the course! Spent a lot of time looking for lost balls but we:dcertainly improved by the end of the week. Plenty of good walks in the area and also went to the Secret Bunker near Anstruther - well worth a visit. Not cold use enough to use the log burner but I would imagine in winter it makes the place very cosy. Susan left a very generous welcome pack which we much appreciated.

Happy days in Fife
Lovely clean well equipped cottage set in peaceful countryside. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Ideal setting for a holiday with our 4 legged friend lots to explore in the area plenty of lovely walks and blue flagged beaches nearby. Enjoyed exploring the Fife coast but always looked forward to returning to the cottage where we were lucky enough to enjoy a couple of barbeques on the terrace. Local village of Ceres very pretty with good amenities well stocked Spar and a lovely butchers shop and local pub. Added bonus only 9 mins drive away from a Michelin starred restaurant where we were lucky enough to be able to get a table. Even though the property is remote lots to do in the region 1week not enough

Superb cottage!
Spent 7 nights in this wonderful cottage as a family of 4 plus dog. The place is fantastic and has everything we could have asked for. So much for the kids to do without leaving the garden! 3 hole golf course, archery, small football pitch, nerf guns, Xbox and much more!! Susan and Barry were fab hosts and always there (via phone messages thanks to Covid) to answer any questions I had about the area. The cottage is so well equipped as well. Traditional decor and a real homely atmosphere. Thanks to the nice weather we didn’t need the log burner but I can only imagine how cosy it would be sitting on the new chairs by the fire. Large enclosed garden is safe for the dog to roam freely. He also had a great holiday!! Only 15 minutes from St Andrew’s where there is also so much to do. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for a visit and hope to return soon.

Windrush steading was a beautiful property and everything was clean and beautifully laid out. There was such a variety of activities available to try ( golf, pool, piano etc). Doggy/friendly weekend country escape
We just came back from a lovely stay. Susanne was helpful and friendly, making sure that we got there safe and leaving some milk, bread, shortbread and oatcakes in the kitchen. The bathroom was spotless, and there was everything you need, towels, soap, cotton buds etc. The highlight of the cottage is definitely the living room, such a big spacious space with 2 tvs, sofas, armchairs and a lovely fireplace. Our dog loved sitting by the fire! Not to mention how peaceful it is outside, we went for a relaxed walk in the fields, and Ceres and Cupar are a stone's throw away. Definitely recommend and we hope to be back!! Thank you for everything Susan!
