Excellent room, evening meal and breakfast very good. My only gripe would be the bathroom could have been cleaner.

A nice well run hotel with very modern and comfortable rooms. Plenty of options for food and drink in the hotel and very reasonable prices. Would happily recommend. Only negative was the room allocated had an outlook only a slate roof and nothing else. Makes me wonder whether Expedia only sell the less attractive rooms in golfers.

Good stay!
The staff here are so nice and accommodating. Check in was easy. The restaurant served very good food! The bedrooms were large with modern bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. Just an FYI…the showers have tubs that are hard for older people to get into and theirs lots of stairs. One elevator goes up to the first floor rooms but there are still stairs to the other rooms. Oh and there’s no A/C but in general, we didn’t need it. There were fans in each room. Overall good stay!

Hotel was very clean staff very attentive Altgough there is no where to go for a sit down meal around the area. we sat in the hotel for a meal and a few drinks as was good Only problem we had was the noise from the neighbouring bar at the end if the night as people was waiting for taxi's and a lot of chattering .but all in all it was a good and friendly hotel and would probably stay again

Great two nights stay
Excellant stay we booked two nights at hotel .Our room was on top floor but we felt that is was if we had our own little flat entrance to two bedrooms and large bathroom lovely and warm rooms and plently of space not crampt at all also breakfast was lovely and hot. We had evening dinner on the Sunday night and that was also very good value and choice of menu

Superb hotel.
Great hotel, wonderful staff and superb food and bar option in the hotel ( 1906 ). Received a warm welcome when checking in, room was huge and very clean and comfortable. The whole team who run the hotel are an asset the the owners.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Parts of the hotel are currently being refurbished but it didn’t impact on our stay and I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

More than adequate for overnight
Nice welcome when we arrived we were going to a wedding in another hotel in the town & the staff told us it was only a 2 minute walk away. Rooms are a bit dated curtains need an upgrade & the hairdryer started making a funny noise & smoke belched out when my wife started to use it & there are renovations ongoing which never bothered us. The breakfast was great for the money we paid for an overnighter & the staff couldn't have been nicer. If you cant get into the Dumfries Arms if your going to a wedding then this is fine as an alternative & its really close by.

Brilliant hotel
Fantastic hotel, great food. Just a challenge as Hotels.com use Expedia and the reception chap didn’t know that it was pre-paid and attempted to charge me again. It was all sorted within a couple of phone calls - a very very nice chap - but it was a bit of an inconvenience.
