"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.
Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early."
"Good location, ideal for a short stay. Room wasn’t clean on arrival but staff were accommodating to change rooms. Parking was limited and was based on a first come basis. "

"Everything was excellent except the breakfast was poor over cooked and luke warm. Checkout wasn’t very good which unfortunately let down what was initially a very good experience. "
"Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. Finally, as we were visiting Halifax, the short walk to the train station was a bonus. Would definitely stay again. 😁"
"Bedrooms were clean, warm and comfortable.Hot tub is big with powerful jets.Fully equipped kitchen where all appliances were in working order.Quiet setting near a canal. Easy access to local town with shops, places to eat etc.Seating area in living room not very comfortable.Lots of steps and big hill to get to main road. In my opinion, not suitable for people with accessibility needs or young children.Overall, excellent value for money. Would recommend."
