"We loved this charming mountain retreat! The room was nicely sized and decorated. Nice touches like robes and plush towels, a bottle of wine, and scented soaps. The bed was comfy although a little creaky. The balcony had two rocking chairs and provided a lovely view of the city and the river. I watched a sunset and a beautiful sunrise. There are two hot tubs and a pool which we did not use. A nice free breakfast was served daily in the sky deck room which was a beautiful lounge with a big balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Blue Ivy was a quaint home, nicely decorated, clean and well-stocked. Host was very responsive and quick to make things right when we encountered an issue. The cleaner contacted me after we checked out to let me know she found my Planner and took care to put it in a safe place where we could pick it up…that’s service above and beyond in my opinion and was very much appreciated."

"Tucked away on a mountain side it feels like a reclusive retreat. It is conveniently located to most things like lookout mountain or restaurants in the city, not to mention a publix located close by. The wood cabin does have charm but need to keep the ac going to keep the cabin smell down. Loved the hot tub and being able to walk the property with our dog, there's even a "general store" with coffee and ice cream (didn't get a chance to try it but it's terrific that it's available)"

"The home was beautiful, plenty of space for everyone. Outdoor space off the kitchen was wonderful. Comfortable beds. Fantastic location as it was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and activities. Only two negatives: Showers were cold. We had hot water in the kitchen and "warm" water in the bathroom sinks, but the showers were cold. Also, hand soaps in the bathrooms had about 1/2 inch of very diluted soap in the bottom of the bottles that splashed out everywhere when pumped. They didn't lather. I used shampoo to wash my hands."

"We booked this property for a surprise birthday getaway for a friend and it was lovely! Just far enough outside of the city to feel comfortable, but close enough to get anywhere with a short drive. We also had no issues finding plenty to do around the mountain! All in all it was a lovely stay and a well taken care of venue!"

"My three kids and I stayed for one night as a quick stop over on our way to Hilton Head. The cabin was clean and made great use of the space. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kids loved the loft. The host was communicative and helpful. The proximity to activities in the area was a huge plus. We checked out Ruby Falls and the Incline Railway, had dinner at Mr. T’s, and Ice Cream at Jeni’s. The only negative was how close the cabin was to the very active train tracks. The property description disclosed this, but be aware that they are within 100ft and trains stop there (braking sounds/whistles). Two of us got very little sleep, the other two never even woke up."
