"This is a traveler’s stopover budget hotel. The location is suburban and close to the airport, the Motorway access and the tram (Gyle Center stop.) The hotel offers very small rooms, budget-approach (I.e., no in room hair dryer, minimal toiletries, one pillow per guest) but has a good staff with convenient light continental breakfast, coffee/tea/water 24/7, and limited food (hoagies, pizza and vending) also available. Beer is served, no other bar. Not many obvious places nearby to eat but there’s a shopping center across the main road (we didn’t explore it), and the tram is a very short 5 min walk from the hotel. Some things in the lobby (tables, eg) and room (walls with splattered ? And window sills) could have been cleaner. A worthwhile stayover place for a night."

"The staff are so helpful and friendly. Andre was amazing. I think £11 per day is a bit steep for parking on site; personally I believe it should be free when you’re staying at the hotel. Breakfast was fine - typical buffet breakfast. Would have been nice to have more fruit options, and a new (faster) coffee machine is recommended. Otherwise great though."

"The Torfin was a lovely place for a single traveler. Two small points: I enjoy a hand cloth for a shower, and there was not desk or equivalent to work on my laptop. Other than that, it was just what I was looking for. Very clean and lots of pillows."
