"Fabulous is the word I choose to use to describe this place. Wish I can give more than 5 star rating. The place was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed, everything inside our room was high quality, including the towels, bed sheets, furniture. Beautiful view from the room, very quiet place, shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast was excellent. They treat every guest with love and respect. I wish to go back and stay there for longer just to enjoy their hospitality. Thanks to Alain & Denise for doing such a wonderful job. "

"It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. Super quaint place to stay. Thank you so much Marcie for the hospitality—-including eggs and veggies! P.S. we left “Flat Butchie”, my adventurous brother who passed a few years back—-he loved Nova Scotia and would have liked that place—so he stayed in the front room"

"This is a property that really highlights the amazing beauty of Cape Breton! Sunsets are breathtaking, as is the trail past the pond to the private beach. The property is exactly as offered. We had everything we needed for a wonderful 3 nights. Michael took great care to ensure we had a very comfortable stay there and communication/responses very fast. There are also great reataurants within 20 minutes of the property. I have no problem highly recommending this property!"

"Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I love being outside, so I sat on the deck and did everything outside as much as possible. The one problem I had with the place is that it is new, and the plastic is off-gassing. This was a reason why I chode to be outside so much. By Wednesday, I had a terrible hack and cough, and I’m still sick today. I suggest opening the place up during the winter months when you're not busy to get rid of the plastic smell. I have friends who I know couldn't have stayed there due to the off-gassing. I also found the place a bit cluttered. Although it looked nice, there are some things you could probably take away that people don’t need when you’re traveling. It’s nice to have shelving to put things on, and I found that was lacking."
