Frigid mountain rainwater? Any bath is worthwhile for a dirtbag cyclist. Stopping at Castle Hill was a must on our trip over Arthur's Pass. Castle Hill is an incredible maze of limestone boulders in Arthur's Pass on New Zealand's South Island. It's representative of the dreamlike/fantasy landscapes one can find in New Zealand AKA Lord of the Rings country. The Bealey is a great hotel. We had a spacious villa with an amazing view. The staff were all very nice. Food options adequate - nothing fancy. Good location near many walking tracks. Glad we stayed there.

Spacious house in a great location
Had a great stay in Castle Hill at this bach. We traveled with a group of eight and we had plenty of living space and amenities for our group. Clean, modern house with good heating system and great indoor-outdoor flow. Close to all the community amenities in the village too. Highly recommended
