Older, well maintained motel style rooms with good features like sink and refrigerator. HVAC system a little too noisy. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Our room was basic, but good and clean. Would have been good to have some more milk, coffee and maybe some small breakfast cerals. There were no extra towels in the closet as mentioned in the room booklet. The only major issues were the person that parked so close to my car, i couldnt get into the drivers side and had to climb over the passenger seat, and the other being woken up at 5am by the person next door sitting out the front of the room having a smoke and talking while kids where running around outside. Wasnt the best for my young daughter and i who had a bid days drive ahead of us. Apart from that, it was ok.

Hi Michelle,Thanks for your kindly review. We would like to provide extra coffee or milk during your staying. But there is no breakfast include as we are not offerring breakfast service. The towels you mentioned I think you misunderstanding. The booklet said there is extra pool towels in our guest laundry closet. It is only for the pool. But during the winter season, the pool is closed so we not put towels in the wardrobe. But if you want extra towels for your room, you can let our staff know and they will happy to provide for you. We are sorry your neighbour wake you up on the early morning.

Smart TV's in each room but TV's limited by 2.4Ghz. TV unable to stream due to connect issues and stability. However 5Ghz WiFi on phones and tablets was flawless.

Yes, we only provide one face washer to each room. If you need more, you can ask our staff. For the paint, we will double check in the room and find out what you mean. Cheers.

Location is great very short walk to the beach and the shopping centre. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel to all my friends and I would definitely go back .

It was in a convenient spot the owners were lovely beds were clean but the room needs a little work done there was hole in the curtain needed a paint throughout but other than that it was fine

An excellent experience with our holiday house. The hotel had everything we didn’t bring. The service was exceptional. The location of the hotels was the central business area. Everything was near, including Coles, Woolworths, a beach,.All the facilities is clean and neat! We definitely will come back !

Hi John, We are sorry to see this review. You booked a self contain twin room with us. During that time, the room has been booked twice. Then we send a message to upgrade you to another spa unit. However, later on, the other guest cancelled his booking, so we put you back to the room you original booked on Expedia the self contained twin room. We have also send you an email to explain all these. Obviously you are not happy because we have not give a free upgrade to the spa unit. It is because we have fully booked on that day. We are sorry to make you round.

Not worth what we paid at all.
To be honest the facilities were pretty horrible. Our room had cobwebs all over it, spiders in the corners. The best part was probably the shower pressure. The facilities outside were even worse. Rusting outdoor settings with sharp edges not child friendly. Pool water dirty and heaps of leaves and junk on the bottom. Lounge chairs were all dirty and covered in spiders and cobwebs. For the end of summer I expected this place to be clean and up to date but it looked unsafe, old and tired. Very unloved. Bedding was very lumpy and old too. Sorry, I wish I could give it more but shower pressure and location was the best part of this trip,

Soooo disappointed at this accomodation. I’ve stayed here many years ago (the 90s) and nothing much had changed it been updated. The outdoor areas are messy and dirty, Untired and over grown. A good power wash and a Gardener would definitely be recommended The indoor areas are tidy but extremely tired, run down and in need of replacement. Beds were not commercial grade, doonas were dirty, walls also dirty. In need of a paint to say the least. Very over priced for what we got.

Hi Connie, Thanks for your review. We have renovete half of the motel rooms on last year until to Oct 2021. We have planned to upgrate all the rooms but it was pulled off because the lockdown. After lockdown, it becomes busy season for us. However, we have update the facility inside your room, I am not quite sure if you have noticed, such the brand new smart TV and etc. The beds mattresses were two years old and we have lots reviews from our customers, most of them like it. For the price, because the new year and summer holiday as peak season in Phillip Island, it is higher than normal season.

The location is amazing! One street away from Cowes main beach and Jetty. Down the road from Thompson Ave and the main strip of shops. There were a few cobwebs in the room but otherwise they were clean. The main negative I would have is that the walls are thin and we had some loud neighbours for one night. Saying that I would stay again!

I’ll be honest… I was a little let down with my stay at the coachman. 😢 At best, and even with the spa bath in the room it was $150 room with a $300 price tag ( booked through lm.com - should have been cheaper)!!! I can’t really complain about anything else too much because everything else was what you would typically find in a hotel and it all worked as it should. I think the decor was probably a little out dated and some minor upgrades/maintenance in the bathroom would suit them well. I think if I had paid $150 for the room instead of $300… I would have been smiles and a big thumbs up all round but I paid the higher price so hence I’m a little let down 😢😢😢

During the peak Christmas and New year time, the price is more expensive than the normal period. When we setting the price, we check the market value as well. We are in the middle range price.
