"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"What a beautiful, private, comfortable peaceful and so many positive adjectives I could use to describe our stay. We went to bed with no siren and traffic sounds from the city and woke up with the songs of birds. Recommend this place for people who need a get away from the hustling of a busy life. "Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area....
