"Decent small rooms. Pretty much dated. Tower warmer doesn’t work (remove it), dresser drawers old with handles missing parts. Lots of wear in room. Never figured out the temperature control. Otherwise staff nice, present well. Vicinity restaurant is pretty good, Tower view on UF staff slow to seat and take order at real slow time. But great location. That said I would still stay again."

"Our stay was great! The location is perfect for access to the underground, with easy access to Tower of London, London Eye, and the Museums. Walking distance to all the great theatres and Covent Garden. We saw The Lion King and were able to walk back in about 7 minutes. All the staff was amazingly kind and friendly. Our child lost something very important to him and they went above and beyond in helping to find it! It was a great stay we will be recommending to our family when they come visit. "

"Rooms are great but not worth the upgrade for an extra person as rooms for 2 persons are identical to 3 persons rooms, so safe a few bucks (>£100/night) booking a standard instead"

"Very good value for money in an excellent location. Very close to St James Park tube station and walking distance to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Whitehall. The rooms are not as small as some of the reviews seem to say. The breakfast is quite acceptable and the location cannot be beaten. Open top buses stop right outside and the tube is a very short walk away."

"The hotel and room were clean. The check in staff were great. However, the shower had nothing to keep the water in so we had to use all the towels to mop up the flood which was annoying, even though we reported it. As a result we kept having to order clean towels. We couldn’t book into swimming till you check in but there was no space for groups of more than 1. There was also a problem with the curtain that no one came to fix so we had to climb and deal with it ourselves. "
