"We enjoyed our stay at the purple hobbit house! Property is clean and easy to access. You really don’t notice the guests in the blue house unless you happen to be coming and going at the same time. 20 minutes to surrounding hikes and one hour easy drive to the Sand Dunes. Rented boards at the shop right outside of entry to dunes. Locals are friendly and restaurants good, just pay attention to the hours.We did not use the sauna, we did use the hot tub daily! We attempted the propane fire pit one day but admittedly gave up pretty quickly. Just enjoyed the sunshine and crisp mountain air in the Adirondack chairs and the star gazing is amazing!!Items to note (not complaints just FYI to help plan your stay): some VRBO’s have extras in the pantry for cooking - this one does not so make sure to bring what you need including containers for leftovers. Kitchen is adequately stocked with the essential pans, dishes, etc. They did have coffee grounds and sugar for the coffee pot. If you’re used to AC and air flow, bring little fans. The air unit is in the living and the bedrooms get warm."
