Peaceful White River Cabin
Very cute cabin directly on the White River. It was a very nice size and had all the comforts of home. Great WIFI and TV options. Very beautiful and peaceful area. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Clean and inviting. Lots of windows, enjoyed the view especially out towards the river. Lots of wildlife, eagles, geese and other birds. It was convenient to fishing guides and several restaurants in Gassville, AR Cabin was a great find as they accepted our dog.

No gas for stove/oven or fireplace
Had to cook all our meals on outdoor grill. No offer of credit. Electricity seemed spotty. Good location. Upstairs beds were for children and no railing to keeps kids from falling off loft.

I'm so very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay here on the river. I am sincerely apologetic that the propane gas company didn't keep the tank full as per their contract...this is the first time in 13 years that we have ever run out of gas and it took me 10 days to get them to come and fill it. It was beyond my control and I wasn't able to cook at my house either. I was thankful for an air-fryer as my outdoor grill runs off the propane tank also. lol. As for the loft, I do have a disclaimer on my listing that it is only accessible by ladder and has no railing and isn't safe for small children. My kids and their friends started sleeping up there at 6 and 8 y/o and never had an issue, but they were not sleepwalkers.:) The beds upstairs are twin size mattresses though . I haven't had a lot of complaints about them before, but thanks for your notes on that!:)

Peaceful stay
Very quiet area yet close to town. The view was amazing thanks to the well placed windows facing the river where there was always something interesting to watch. Lots of outdoor space as well where you could sit and watch the world go by. Owner that lived next door is very friendly yet not intrusive at all. Questions were answered promptly and we were even gifted fresh eggs from her chickens. We would rent again if we ever get back to the White River area.i

Amazing
This stay was wonderful. The cabin was nice and cleaned up well. It may seem close to other houses/cabins in the pictures, but it was so peaceful. We did not hear a word out of anyone. The owners were wonderful and left us eggs in the refrigerator. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We will most certainly be back.

Short fishing trip

Trout fishing-this is the place to stay!
We loved seeing the River right outside the windows. Although it was very cold, we still enjoyed our time. Very quiet place. I wished we could have enjoyed the fire pit outside. Next time we re staying in the springtime so we can enjoy everything they have available!

Cozy cabin in quiet area along White River
Small cozy cabin with cute fishing lodge decor. Cabin is a bit dated but comfortable for 2 people. Enjoyed the fresh eggs left for us by owner. Saw eagles and geese along the river and went trout fishing with local guide. Very enjoyable stay.

Cozy Cabin
Great little cabin, right on the water. It was clean and very cozy. The gas logs fireplace kept the whole place plenty warm, so we didn’t use the wall unit. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water, and we could easily walk down to the bank and fish. We also sat inside by the fire and took in the view from the big windows, which was nice! The kitchen was fully equipped, including cookware and a keurig for morning coffee. The owners left fresh eggs from the neighbor chickens, and we enjoyed those each morning for breakfast! The mattress was soft and they supplied lots of pillows. We did not use the loft, but it would be perfect for kids. The cell service was spotty, but the wifi signal was great! I text the owner to let them know what time we were arriving and they wrote back quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Location
You can watch the White River from the comfort of the couch. Quiet location and close to several small towns for groceries and places to eat. Has a deck outside to relax and watch the boats. Caught my first Brown trout just feet from cabin.

Great trout fishing
The place was very cozy and the view was awesome. Lots of wildlife around. We saw cranes, eagles, squirrels, deer, geese flying close thru river. And even a red headed woodpecker close up. Limited out every day on trout. The water rises in afternoon which makes it impossible to wade fish . The fresh farm eggs was awesome. Will be back for sure!

Great White River Getaway
Great location on the river, very peaceful and quiet, felt like we had good level of privacy as well which was nice. Sitting on the deck and relaxing while watching the boats and fishermen go by was fun. We enjoyed the available fire pit, gas grill, horseshoes, and assortment of board games. The abundance of windows offered fantastic views of the river. Overall, a wonderful place and looking forward to booking again!

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was the perfect place for my wife to relax and for me to enjoy fly fishing. Great view of the river. Loved the hammock. Good spot for wade fishing during low flow conditions. The fresh eggs from owner topped it off. Will be back!

My hubby grew up in Arkansas and moved to Iowa where him and I met and started a family. He has always wanted to take us to Arkansas to show us the beautiful sites. When we started our search we were looking for two main things.. those being kid friendly and near the water. As soon as we saw this cabin we knew it was it. Check in process was simple and welcoming. The AC was running {thank goodness because it was HOT out} there were eggs from their chickens in the fridge and the cabin was very clean and well stocked! The white river was just a few feet down from the cabin where we were able to trout fish and cool off. The hammock was a nice place to read and take naps, many naps! My kiddos LOVED the loft area. We didn’t have any issues but just a few questions for the host and she was quick to respond! We stayed for 5 nights and we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery this is it!

Peaceful Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay at this precious cabin! Just steps from the White River, my two boys and husband stayed on the river all day. They caught our supper and some to bring home. I enjoyed reading on the hammock and watch the bald eagles circle. Such a peaceful time! Thank you for sharing your space with us. We will definitely be back!

Great little spot for for a few day vacation with the family. Property met all descriptions, was clean, and well stocked. Our teenage boys enjoyed the loft and fishing the White. The bald eagles perched on the crag across the river was a nice touch.

We had the most peaceful stay at this cabin. The views of the river were amazing and the river was easy to access for wading. The cabin was clean, the best was comfortable. I cant say enough as to how great this cabin is. It was the perfect place for us to stay. We will definitely be back.

Extended weekend get away
Nice little get away. Met the owner, she was super nice. Left us some eggs from her chickens, yum. Had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and we all met the two baby ducks they had just purchased, totally adorable. Very quiet and peaceful. Was only 2 draw backs, very light shade in bedroom, so morning light wakes you up, and the keurig took several attempts to get a full cup of coffee.

Honeymoon
We are avid goers of the White River. We normally stay in Cotter but we just recently got married and wanted a more private location to spend our time. Our stay was perfect, right by the water. It was such a pretty place, inside and out. We loved seeing the chickens and the garden, we have the same at our home so it’s a passion we must share with the owners of the house we rented. ❤️ overall, we would stay again and again. It was also close to two places we could put our boat in at as well as close enough to cotter to go put in without a hassle. The only downside (and it had nothing to do with the house or host) was the fishing. And I’m not sure if that was a mixture of us, what we were fishing with or because of how many GFS they were releasing.
