"The handle was broken on the bathroom door. The handicap seat in the shower was awfuly put on the wall as u had it against ur head as u sat in the tub. The pillows were yellow and smelled like mold. The beds are way to high. No options to get sodas or other drinks. The options for breakfast were so limited and poor tasting. I can't believe how much money i paid for one night and how cheap everything felt. "

Very peaceful remodeled/updated home on a dead-end drive overlooking 40acres of farm field to the south out huge windows and 15 acres behind the rental with cut and marked walking trails. Bright, open-concept living area and kitchen feels large, Nothing lacking, worked out perfectly and no regrets. Bronson my big brown dog also gave it 5 stars and he’s no stranger to Vrbo type traveling. "

"Nice to have gas station, bar and restaurant all accessible without having to leave the building. Also there was events going on every night so great opportunity to meet new people but the pool can get a bit crowded. Great staff and room was very nice. "

"The guest house is one of the most charming and accommodating places I have ever stayed in. The proprietor is a historian who is warm and personalizes the experience for each guest with humble grace. She has taken a late 1800's manor house and refurbished it to it's original elegance. Upon arrival, you get a tour of the house and if interested, a verbal tour of the history of the estate, the town, and the territory as it became a state. She reviews how the local businesses provided a major contribution in the development of the United States. Being a history buff myself, this was particularly intriguing to have my own , in-house, historian. She has created great accommodations with special attention to all of the details a weary traveler may have forgotten. The beds are very comfortable with silk pillowcases. There are extra throw blankets to keep one warm on an afternoon nap. Perhaps the coup de gras is her home cooked and lovingly prepared hearty, healthy breakfasts, each morning you arise.
