"The hotel & room were spotless and well maintained throughout our stay. We had a “Small room with canal view” however the room was very spacious, the views were great too. The beds were made up daily and toiletries etc replenished. The complementary coffee lounge is a great touch and a lovely way to start the day before heading out. Every staff member we met was friendly and professional. Location is great and they have a really useful map in reception you can take away with you. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, no bad words to say! :)"

"Found the self service check in an inconvenience, but staff was attentive and helped me. Room was spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was huge! Lovely and the pillows spot on. Main reason for booking the room was for the bathtub, after a long day sightseeing a bathtub is a must! Hotel was in a great quiet location just 5 minute walk from main tourist attractions. "

"Not the best of starts. First room given was very bad - heating didn't work, room was old and tatty. A complaint to the management was handled very well however with both managers dealing with the situation to the highest standard. We were given a new room (which was a lot more modern), and given complimentary breakfast for the rest of our stay. Mistakes happen, but staff fixed it."
