"This place is adorable! We had such a cozy room. We wish we had spent more time there. The "feel" of this place was so appropriate for the region. The staff was very nice-- gave us advise of places to stop, restaurants to eat. There's such a romantic restaurant on the property! Like a dream! "I recently spent much of the month of July traveling through Italy. Of the 8 hotels we stayed at, Hotel Pontechiesa was the only disappointment. Pros: Our room was clean and the hotel is within walking distance of downtown Cortina. Cons: 1) Breakfast seating is assigned. In our case, we were seated next to a family with two coughing children.
