"Front desk employee was amazing. She checked us in and also printed/shared the history of Helen. She was very sweet. The breakfast employee was also sweet and polite. The building is outdated in places, it can use an outdoor facelift ans new windows. The pool area can use some fresh paint and a good pool cleaning and painting update. The bathrooms were clean and updated. The room were clean, but can also use some updated paint and fresh flooring. We wish we had more time to explore the history and visit shops. "

"Loved the fitness room! Was a bit larger than most with 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical, bike and free weights, kettlebells and 2 benches. Usually the gyms are tiny but there were 4 people in there and we all had room! "

"The property is well maintained and it's age gives it charm. Breakfast is a variety of easily prepared or ready to eat items. Although most people prefer to go out for breakfast. The bed was nice and there was always hot water. Water pressure good too."
