Excellent hotel, Small rooms but your only in there to sleep! Towels, soap and shower gel all provided. Slept well every night. Breakfast was continental but perfectly adequate. Staff very helpful, luggage storage available if you arrive before check in or have a later flight home. Walking distance to Nyhavn great location.

It was a great area, and the hotel was good. We didn't realise that we had to request that our room be serviced, so that would've been great to know in advance. The stay was great beside a large outdoor spotlight, I believe, coming from the Hotel premises, which was kept on all night and shone directly into our room, which meant it was a very bright room. Area is great very convenient to all things around Copenhagen.

Tiny room but great location. Rooms are tiny, we were travelling for one month around the Nordic countries, so we had big luggage and we barely fit in the room. We did not have the same issues on any other place we stayed. The hotel is very well located around main attractions.

Positives: Location, is perfect. Nyhavn, the Palace, shopping, Rosenberg Castle all within a 10 minute walk. Its location and pricing is the great thing about this hotel. Negatives: check in was manic and long and the self service was not working for anyone. There is no bar but a very small coffee station served for by the check in staff. The rooms are extremely small, no storage, you have to climb over your partner to get in and out of bed. All dignity goes out of the window if you need the toilet, as your room mate/partner can hear everything as there is only a sliding door and frosted glass between you. Overall: We had an amazing time. It was a super popular hotel with tourists, but I would not stay again for a return visit.

The hotel rooms were small but had everything you need for a city break in them. They were clean, although they did not tell us that you had to request cleaning each day (it’s wrote on the card in the room and signs next to the lift but we clearly didn’t read these). The staff were very friendly and it was good that there was luggage storage for before and after your stay. We would come again.

Very bare bones hotel that did not lend itself to good sleep. The pillow seemed very old. The bed didn’t include a top sheet, just a down quilt that became very, very hot. It made for poor sleeping conditions. The shower was tiny and not very clean.

The room was so small we could barely move around. One bed for two people, which is what we requested, but the person on the wall side had to climb over the other person to get up. The bathroom is basically a cordoned off area, very little privacy. Way overpriced. Book elsewhere.

My flight was delayed and I called to inform front desk I would be arriving very late in the evening. They confirmed my reservation and said there would be no issue. Upon arrival a couple hours later, I was told there were no rooms because a pipe had burst and I had to be moved to another hotel for a night and a few minutes later informed it would be for entirety of my stay. I selected Wakeup primarily for location and substitute hotel was 20 minutes away and room overlooked the city train line with loud screeching on the tracks through the night. Staff was polite and appreciate the assistance in finding alternate accommodatio. Of course, things like these happen, but I was skeptical that a pipe just happened to burst in the 2-3 hours between their confirming the reservation and my arrival and thought it more likely that the hotel was overbooked or my room was given away because I had selected to pay at the property when booking.

Fantastic place to stay in Copenhagen! Right in the center of the action. All key sites are walkable. Rooms are small, but not especially so. It was a bit noisy outside our room as it overlooked the kitchen service area. The bathroom and the sleeping area in the room were separated only by glass. The glass is mostly opaque, but it might be a bit awkward if you are traveling with someone other than your partner. This is common in the region, but should be noted. Lock boxes are available for baggage if you want to store your stuff before or after checkout. You will need a 20 DK coin to access the lock boxes, but can get this at the desk if need-be. The great staff also permitted us to check in early, but this can (obviously) not be guaranteed.
