"Beautifully renovated Victorian house. Curated spaces throughout for sitting, lounging, listening to music, reading or playing a board game. Coffee and snack stations including ice cream sandwiches in the second floor refrigerator!! Breakfast was fresh, homemade and plentiful. Walkable to town for craft beer and delicious eats!!! Fantastic place."

"We love this hotel ! It was exceptional! The food was good and the place was kept so clean and lovely. Everything was so convenient! The pool was great and there was a washroom, a change room and a warm shower right near the pool! (Can’t say the same for the Alt airport hotel’s pool area!"

"The property was adequate for our needs. The host was quick to respond to our concerns but had not fixed problems that were existing before we got there, broken umbrella stand, deck chairs, no soap or shampoo in the basement washroom. He repaired the umbrella stand, took away the broken chairs and got rid of the ants quickly that turned up 2 or 3 days during our stay. The laundry was excellent, supplied us with coffee pods and numerous spices etc. Got the air conditioning working and was pleasant to deal with. He dealt with the pricing overcharge and we ended with a 15% reduction from the price first given to us by V RBO. Generally pleased with everything including the host."

"The accommodation was so lovely it's hard to explain. Sunny, or misty, or even a bit of rain did not diminish our enjoyment. Well-appointed, it had everything we needed. It is such a beautiful location, central to the day trips we took to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Chester after visiting Halifax. Watching the tide come in every day, hearing the birdsong and the waves lapping against the rocks, was heavenly. Whether you come to see the area or just settle in for a quiet respite, this would be an excellent choice."
