"he River Inn is a beautiful, charming hotel with an unbelievable view and a great location. The happy hour at the bar was very enjoyable, and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. The valet service was also excellent. Unfortunately, the staff overall were not as attentive or helpful as I would have expected. Still, the hotel itself has a lot of character and a wonderful atmosphere."

"Front desk staff and breakfast staff were AMAZING! Rooms were clean and location was perfect. We were able to walk to everything we did and everyplace we ate. Breakfast was good and they have 24 hour coffee. Housekeeping was another story....we stayed 6 nights and they never showed up until the last evening we were there and just gave us clean towels and took some trash while we were there in the room. Pool is tiny but great. Could definitely use more than 4 lounge chairs."

"We were moving our daughter into Georgia Southern and decided we wanted to stay closer to the river this time. Our stay was great! Breakfast was wonderful! Didn’t like the fact we had to pay for parking or valet. But my husband got up every morning to pay the meter at 8 am cause it was free from 8pm-8am. Room was comfy and fit all of us!"

"The staff were responsive except for the lady in charge of breakfast on Sunday morning. She clearly did not like her job or the customers. She was rude. Most of the front desk staff greeted you with a smile and a hello. Chi Chi at the lobby bar was fantastic!! We purposely came back to have another drink with him before the bar closed. The hotel is situated in a great position to explore Savannah."

"They offer valet, which we declined. Staff sent us to the same parking lot their valet uses, which charged $25 for a few hours we were parked. We found a lot less than a block away that charged $5 for the entire night. Seems shady that the staff would send us to the overpriced lot without mentioning the significantly less expensive option "
