Quiet mountain homes for family gatherings

This is a 5 Bedroom, 3 bath home on 1/2 acre in beautiful Woodland Park, CO. There is plenty of parking for at least 3 cars side by side and more if double parked. The yard is fully fenced and has a deck with a table that seats 6, (extra seating is available), a large Weber propane BBQ, a basket ball hoop, a volley ball/ badminton area and a young children's playset that includes swings and a slide and a hot tub that seats 8 for the entire family to enjoy the beautiful wooded surroundings.

We do have a NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS policy. Please do not bring pets, several of our children and grand children are very allergic and your deposit will be forfeited should you ignore the no pet rule.

*The home does NOT have air conditioning. It is usually not an issue except on the warmest of days because the house has a lot of shade from trees and there are celling fans in 4 of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the family room. There are 2 other large stand alone fans available to place where desired when and if ever needed. The basement is a large gathering place and is always cool.

There is a pellet stove in the basement for DECORATION only! Feel free to adjust the thermostat to what ever temperature is desired during your stay.

Security System: We have a security system that has camera's at each entry way to the home, the front door (a security doorbell), the back door (a security doorbell) and a set of French doors from the backyard to one of the bedrooms (a camera on the back of the house). A security code will be provided to you that disarms the system. There is audio capability with the 2 doorbells but not the camera at the French doors. The security system is primarily to ensure the security of the home during vacant periods. You can feel free to use it or not use it to secure the home and your belongings during your stay. The security camera on the back of the house is only to monitor access to the house at the glass French door. This camera may could be triggered to record activity in the area between the French doors and the hot tub depending on the size of the person and how close they are to the camera. This rarely occurs but to ensure you have complete privacy in the hot tub please be sure to use the hot tub cover lift as instructed in the house rules and the house book to take the hot tub cover up and off the hot tub. This creates a "wall" between the hot tub and the security camera and also provides privacy from the neighbor on that side of the property.
