Excellent property, very cozy. The location was excellent and very close to everything including Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak. It was off a nice quiet stretch of road for morning walks with the dogs. We couldn't have been happier.
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The perfect in between location for our trips into Manitou Springs and Woodland Park. Could not have treated us any better.
We really our stay at the cabin. Owner was really nice & helpful. The living room was very comfy with nice furniture/
Super clean with nice yard for our pups!
The cottage was perfect location for a wedding we were attending. Great listing for hikes and restaurants close by in the cabin reference guide. WiFi was very helpful for our stay.
We had a great time. The cabin was at the foot of pikes peak road and the garden of the gods was just up the road. Yes, we will stay again when in the area, if the peak and garden are on your list, I definitely recommend staying here. The neighbors are quite friendly they would wave when we buy.
This is a nice cabin halfway between Woodland Park and Manitou Springs. Very easy access to 24 and you are only a few minutes away from everything. This was my first VRBO rental and Marc was a great host. The cabin is very simple but clean, well stocked and everything worked. We especially liked the bottle of wine and the updated tv.We really enjoyed our time. No complaints.
The home was in a semi secluded area, had neighbors but very quiet area. Very clean. The only thing missing was a covered porch so you could sit outside to enjoy the Colorado rain but definitely not a deal breaker! Overall, loved our stay!
My husband and adult son stayed for 2 nights. It was a perfect set up for us. The property was clean and well equipped. We didn't realize it at the time but were happy to see the property was at the base entrance to the Pike's Peak Highway. The setting was nice, as promised it was creekside. The only drawback was we could still hear road noise from Hwy 24. It was not a deal breaker in anyway, but took a bit a way from the creek.
Nice, clean small cabin with everything you need for a home away from home. Couldn't quite figure out the tv, but owner left some generous snacks and drinks and lots of local info and house was comfy and convenient to Green Mountain Falls where we attended the Skyscape show. Great spot. Would recommend. House could easily fit a family of four...there were 2 of us.
We enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and definitely worked for our needs for the weekend. The owner clearly communicated how to get to/access the property. The interior of the property was nice and had everything we needed. It was a little difficult to access the property since there were cars parked in the road on the way in (not the owner's fault). The location was also not quite as scenic as the pictures looked online. But the owner left a bottle of wine for us, which we really appreciated, and it definitely served our hope for a quick weekend away.

Close to all the attractions
We had a nice stay just outside of Colorado Spings. By far the best part of our stay was the close proximity of the house to the major tourist attractions in the area! The neighborhood was a little rough, but we never felt unsafe and neighbors seemed friendly. The house was stocked well enough, with a nice welcome basket of local stuff. My only complaints would be that the house sleeps 4 except they only provided us with 3 towels and 3 washcloths, and we couldnt find any extra bedding for our youngest who slept on the couch. The house does not seem to have a/c which is fine, except a few of the windows did not have screens so we couldn't open them.
Overall it was a decent stay
This little place was exactly what we needed—a dog-friendly jumping off place (well-located) to spend a laid back Easter weekend. The house was clean and the host was very thoughtful—we appreciated the visitor’s guide they provided, as well as the kitchen and toiletry basics. (You never know when you’re going to forget the cooking spray—and, it seems like a silly thing, but we’ve stayed in rentals that did not provide coffee filters for their machines. I was so glad to find coffee filters.) communication was great and we all had a wonderful time.
I rated “location and neighborhood” four stars because the approach to this property looks kind of junky. Once you reach the end of the road, where this property is located, it is well-kept.
We enjoyed our stay at the little cottage and it wasn’t to far from places and the communication from the property manager was great. They also sent us extra info on some things we asked about that really helped us.
