The staff were so friendly and helpful with routine and special requests. We decided to prepare our own dinner while staying there (big salad) and they gave us access to the kitchen and refrigerator. I can’t compliment them enough. Pool and garden were gorgeous. Highly recommend.

A great stay!
This is an excellent little bnb. We came in late and they were very accommodating. Our room was sparse but adequately furnished for a group of three. The breakfast was very nice and the outside pool area was charming. Loved this little town. Lots of history and great buildings and seafront views in Colonia!

Nice hotel close to attractions and transport
I upgraded to a room in the back of hotel with a view of backyard and pool as I did not want the room facing the dinning room and close to kitchen It as an additional 16 US per night but worth it as it was very quiet TV reception was poor but may be due to the area

Cute place with pool and relaxing garden area
The pool and garden area were very nice and relaxing. Staff was very nice. The breads at breakfast were homemade and worth stealing for snacks later in the day. They'll also make you a kit to drink mate like a local - for free!

Great ocation, staff.
Friendly staff, good service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Lovely patio and pool area. Great location adajacent to the barrio historico. Only complaint about the ground floor garden room (#12) is no window other than the door.

Amenities: The hotel was located in a great location, adjacent to everything yet still on a quiet street. The hotel has bikes you could rent daily for $10 each, which was a nice touch for the little exploring area of the historic district. Daily complimentary breakfast is also pretty standard in South America. The hotel feels more like an old Chalet (House) and the rooms are set up as so. Your room is literally off the main room of the hotel where breakfast and check in happens. The doors are just little old windowed doors with drapes for privacy but it's apparent you can hear everything and everyone can hear you. It's still quiet nonetheless but I was woken up VERY early by them preparing breakfast and a guest baby crying pretty loudly. Room: We got the cheapest and smallest room so it didn't have a window and the bed was a full, I think. The cable in our room was spotty and had a lot of interference. The cleanliness was obvious at first glance but once you're settled you can notice smashed mosquitos on the walls. There was a skylight open in our room with no way of reaching it or closing it, which resulted in me waking up with mosquito bites all over my body in the morning despite it being a week away from becoming Winter. I also need to add, there was an oil diffuser that nearly made me check out before I was even settled. The smell of Lemon was overwhelming in a toxic chemical sort of way. Overall 3 stars: The staff, hotel, cleanliness and food was okay

Thank you very much for your comments, and for choosing our Inn for your stay in Cologne. The room that you reserve has clarified its characteristics and also its price among all the options of different rooms that we offer with better views and location, of course to other values. The cable service works perfectly, if we knew that you had problems we could have solved them, just as closing the light and air skylight is very simple: its opening and closing handle is handy, but on the other hand that skylight Has mosquito net. However our staff could have provided you with elements to drive away mosquitoes as well as removed the diffuser of natural lemon oils (no chemical) that each room possesses, of course ... if we had found out.

Nice stay in little oasis
We came in on a Saturday with crowd and crowds of people. The hotel is located right in the middle of town, fabulous location. The gem was the garden in the back, completely peaceful and quiet. Beautiful flowers and lovely pool (although very small). This was a great place to sit back and relax. We had a triple room near the entrance. It was a bit loud, especially in the morning with the breakfast. The beds were a little on the small side. Rooms in the back, especially on the garden would have been a perfect stay. Breakfast was various breads and pastries, ham and cheese, but of better quality, not mass-produced.

decent hotel with great service by staff. however, booked a double bed room on hotel.com but upon arrival reception said we have to pay an upgrade and we declined it despite those rooms were available. At checkout the girl at reception charged the room fees despite it was paid already and I incurred fees on exchange rate in this process. service would be better if small requests can be accommodated. overall not a bad hotel for price you pay.

Very good choice.
This hotel had all you could need if you are looking for a pleasant, easy place to stay. The people were nice, it is centrally located. It is pretty, but not fancy. Wi Fi was good, breakfast was okay. Beds were comfortable and it was nice and clean. Big plus was how engaged the staff was...both about their jobs, but also in general conversation. I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful Little Hotel
This is a very nice, small B&B-style hotel in the old center of Colonia with a pretty garden and pool. A short walk to everything. We had a wonderful 4-ight stay. The breakfast is short on variety but big on taste. Our only word of caution, we would not want to stay in the "inside" rooms as the have no windows and open up directly on to the public area, making privacy an issue. But the rooms facing the pool are great.

Nice stay
One night stay for a romantic getaway. Very good service, friendly owner, clean room and common areas. Good location within the historic so everything is within a few blocks and easy walk. The only drawback was the room we were in opened into the common area and the door provided little soundproofing.

Very pleasant stay - we were able to check in early and were even upgraded to a room with garden view! Room was nice and clean. Didn't get to enjoy the pool much as it was cloudy that day but nevertheless it looked great! Delicious breakfast and polite friendly staff. Would stay there again!

EXCELLENT LOCATION AND BEAUTIFUL HOTEL!!!
Our stay at Hotel Capullo was great. The landscape design in the back courtyard is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious (cereal pastries, cheese, coffee, fresh squeezed juice). Having a pool to jump into after a long hot day was a treat. This hotel is centrally located in Colonia and less than a block away from great restaurants. I recommend staying in one of the rooms with a view of the courtyard. Also, consider renting bicycles or an electric golf cart for a few hours (two great ways to see the lay of the land and to check out the beaches). Overall I give Posada El Capullo and this beautiful town a big thumbs up if you are looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Clean, comfortable, and in great location - steps away from old town on a beautiful tree lined street walking distance from the bus station and port. The staff was great. Always available and always friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too.

Hermosa experiencia
El lugar es increíble, el personal súper amable, la pileta iluminada y cuidada. El jardín y la pileta en la noche sin dudas es lo que mas nos gustó. Lo disfrutamos mucho en las noches con una cervezas. Agradezco por su amabilidad, lo cuidado que mantienen todo y la gran atención que nos dieron.
