"There was only one table size chair in the room, which made it awkward for two people getting dressed. Also, the claw foot tub/shower combination was a little problematic. The lightweight shower curtain, which encircled the entire tub, kept sticking to my body when showering. The bottom of the tub was dangerously slippery. The tub enclosure was very tall and difficult to climb in and out of for a senior citizen. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed the ambiance of our stay in the 100-year-old lodge."

"We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend here! The cabin had everything we needed, and we loved spending time in the hot tub, walking around the lake, and just enjoying the peaceful setting. Our dog especially loved watching all the squirrels and even got to swim a little, although the water was a bit too cold for us!The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and even left us wine and dog treats, which was such a nice touch. We had a great stay and are definitely adding this to our list of favorite cabins in the PNW. We’d happily come back!"

"Very pleasant place to come home to after a long hike! By the way, may I suggest the Big Creek hike which is just 4 miles from the house! Lovely decks, very comfortable bed (it's making me wonder if I need a new bed at home?!?). Important to me is it's very quiet, just a few cars drive by but quietly somehow. It has mostly what one needs - could use a kettle, electric or stovetop. Highly recommend!"
