"We had an amazing time. Grounds are peaceful and lush. My one complaint was that the staff let children (and the parents who don’t know how to be parents to unruly children) run and scream through the dinner area and the hotel. It was awful. It happened on multiple occasions. Would be helpful to post about noise policies and hold parents accountable. Other than that, we had a great experience. Comfortable beds, fabulous food at the restaurant, the lodge is amazing. Don’t miss out on the largest Sitka spruce, a short drive from the lodge."
"I'm not sure how to review this hotel. We had gone out of our way to stay there since the pictures looked good and it was oceanfront. The positives: a wonderful big pool and hot tub, ocean views and can walk down stairs to the beach, friendly staff, extras like a bathrobe, nice soap, etc.
The negatives: Our ocean view room was really old, I will try to attach pictures, but the doors, carpet, wood paneling... yikes. Pool hours (pool is across the street) were 10-8 for families, so we got in late and only had 15 minutes, they dont open in time for you to swim before checking out. There were holes in the ceiling tiles and the toilet wasn't secured, couldn't lock the bathroom door, and the traffic was really loud overnight. Why is the restaurant so fancy? $40-60/pp seems out of place and made us scramble to find something around there. Unless they did a big renovation i wouldn't stay there again, I cant give it more than 3 stars. :-("
"Parking free and good. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. The office was only open from 9a-6p when we were there in mid May. The only half and half (real cream) was available in the office not in the guest room with the coffee maker. Room was kind of small but clean and comfortable. Nice view of the lake! "
"This is a beautiful area with cozy cabins right on the ocean. Ours was pet friendly. It had everything we needed. Very clean. Convenient midpoint location for exploring Hoh and Quinault. Easy access to walk down to the beach, and dogs on leash are allowed. A helpful set of information explaining how to get to various points of interest was available at check in. They have a text system that is extremely responsive to questions. We would absolutely recommend to our fellow pet loving travelers."

"Great weekend clamming. The unit fit our needs. Be aware there is a unit above you and they can be very loud. Everything else met out needs and expectations."
