+ Restaurant was good. + Bathroom was below average, with small shower with inwards collapsing doors. No bathtub, no slippers. +Bed was clean and comfortable. + Tv was OK, a bit outdated (can't connect your devices) + Employees were warm. + Small maintenance going on in some floors, but not too much and it was communicated in elevators.

Great location in City Park.
This hotel is located in the City Park in a suburb of Cologne. Great park, many restaurants and shops, and tram stops with in walking distance. Our room had a great view of the lake. Many miles of bike and walking trails in this park system.

Light not working in bathroom. Hardly any power sockets. Limescale down all the shower walls. Pillow cases worn out. Stains on carpet floor. Mould on shower seals. Mice running around when eating lunch and dinner in dining area. Cold breakfast with stale bread and pastries.

stayed for 2 nights at the end of August during a very hot spell, unfortunately the hotel decided to upgrade their air-conditioning, so all the rooms were very hot even at night time. Apart from that would use the hotel in future if we are in the area

Room was very small and dark. Bed was comfortable but I could see some hairs in bedding cover. Also air conditioning system was not working even though outside temperature was 30 degree.

Leonardo Royal in August-2019
The hotel is centrally located in koln. However the hotel did not advice us in advance that there is painting and repairs are being done during our stay. The noise of repairs was very loud and even the front desk staff did not mention that. The smell of fresh paint that included the chemicals in pain were very strong since the painter was painting the elevator walls which were very close to our room. The worst part was their elevators that did not fit my husbands electric wheel chair so he could not go up to the room on his wheel chair and he had to use his stick to get in and out of the elevator. Staff was very pleasant and the park in the back was a plus.

Will stay again, AC spotty
This hotel is in a great location with easy access to autobahn, stadium and walking trails. The only problem I had was getting the AC to work properly and actually cool the room. Luckily it wasn't a super hot night and I left the window open for a while.

Nice hotel
Overall good hotel. The reception staff were kind and helpful.the rooms alittle bit old fashin. The lake view is gret. The location is good but not at the center. (We rent a car and the parking cost 15 € per day ).

Nice hotel for a stay over if you reach to Cologne
Good location, out of the city centre. It takes only 15 minutes to reach downtown. Condition of hotel is good, except bathroom, is out dated and you can bearly sit on the toilet. The hairdryer stops every 3 minutes for 5 minutes, that a bit annoying.

Great hotel. Fantastic location.
Potential to become the best hotel in Cologne. The complete experience is great, but could easily be outstanding. The prices are reasonable. The service is generally very good. We stayed for five days and felt welcome and relaxed. Rooms are a nice size and very comfortable for working and relaxing. Selection of TV channels available is excellent for international guests. Bathrooms are really clean and a decent size.The restaurant is very good, although it would be nice to see more choice on both the menu and wine list. I found the hotel very convenient for business meetings - easily accessible for guests and attentive staff in the bar and on the outside terrace.
