Sub standard room for the price.
We booked a double rom with a double bed but upon arriving were told that there was only one room left and it had twin beds. Furthermore the room had akward layout in that both occupants could not see the TV. Disappointing! The decor was dated and mould in the room was unsightly and probably reason for concern. Breakfast was great though!

Owner and staff are super helpful.Next to Bus stop as well. Breakfast is also pretty good .Highly recommended.

substandard hotel.
The weather was very warm but hotel had no air conditioning. We had to open the window wide but still couldn't sleep until after mid night. I was surprised the hotel still used keys to enter the rooms instead of electronic cards. The room was very basic and old, the bathroom smelled bad. The reception closed after 10 pm. you could only enter the hotel by enter a secret code provided when checking in. On the positive notes. The staff was friendly and free breakfast.

OK hotel with needs.
Hotel on main street going with major restaurant across street. Hotel carpet going upstairs nasty and torn, horrible first impression. Rooms clean but little air flow in summer. Limited parking with no instructions as where to park when all spaces are full.

Excellent traditional Germany hotel
It helped having a local friend to translate. The room was rather cool and with radiate heat it never warned up but wasn't cold. We found a hair band in the bed so not surethe sheets we're changed. The breakfast was plentiful and had every option of a traditional European breakfast.

Best welcome and individual care
We have hardly ever had a more friendly welcome. Our many questions were promptly answered,like directions to the city,restaurants,etc. A personal problem was solved in a most helpful way and we are very grateful to the owner. The room was comfortable,we had a good rest and breakfast was excellent. The staff was efficient and service was great.

Great stay ...! Had a lovely steak in the American Diner over the road. Drank too much beer as usual and spent the rest of the evening chatting up the waitresses ...! All in all a good night ...!

Der Hotelier war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Frühstücksraum war hell und schön. Das Frühstücksbüffee war reichhaltig und appetitlich präsentiert. Gefehlt hat ein kleines glutenfreies Angebot, z.B. Haferflocken. Auch wären frische Blumen auf dem Tisch statt Plastikblumen schön gewesen. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr klein und zweckmässig.

Das das Hotel an einer verkehrsreichen Straße liegt weiss man bei der Buchung. Nachts wird es auch ruhiger. Hotel sauber, Personal und Eigentümer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im wahrsten Sinne eine „Preiswerte“ Unterkunft in direkter Nähe zu Köln. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Das Hotel ist eins der älteren Generation und leider somit auch etwas arg veraltet. Renoviert wurde wohl schon länger nicht und wenn nur notdürftig und auch teilweise schlampig nachgearbeitet (Farb- und Klebereste). Das ganze Zimmer roch komplett feucht über die 2 Tage wo ich da war. Ich will nicht wissen wie viel Schimmel evtl in der Wand steckt. Das Bad hatte in den Fließen zumindest schwarze schimmelige Stellen und auch nach dem duschen ging die Feuchtigkeit sehr schlecht aus dem Bad (trotz Ventilator zur Abluftregulierung). Tür offen lassen hat nur bewirkt dass das Zimmer noch feuchter wurde und die Spiegel etc. beschlugen. Zimmerservice kam auch keiner um mal nach den Handtüchern oder so zu schauen. Ich weiß nicht wie die anderen Zimmer sind, aber meines hatte diverse Mängel, u.a. lief das Waschbecken nicht ab (der Hebel scheint wohl kaputt). Fazit: für 90-100€ die Nacht absolut überteuert für das was man geboten bekommt, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht.

Wer auf den altmodischen Schick der späten 70-er Jahre steht, wird sich in den dunkelbraunen, altmodischen Möbeln und dem bahama-beige des Badezimmers sehr wohl fühlen. Das Waschbecken ist so nah an der Dachschräge, dass man sich als Rechtshänder kaum die Zähne putzen kann. Ein weiteres Abenteuer ist die Handhabung der Dusche, denn die beiden Wasserhähne lassen eine durchgängig gleiche Temperatur des Wassers nicht zu. Nicht alle Lampen waren funktionstüchtig, was für das Zimmer und die Einrichtung beinahe schmeichelhaft war. Fazit: nicht zu empfehlen, da Preis/Leistung nicht zusammenpassen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Zimmer mit Bad! Leider sind die Zimmerwände (2.OG) recht hellhörig, sodass man morgens auch hört, wenn andere Gäste früh auf dem Flur herumläuft.

Zimmer waren Sauber und das Frühstück reichhaltig. Der check-in und Check-out verlief ohne Probleme. der Late-Check-in war Problemlos. Was wünschenswert gewesen wäre , wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Aber davon abgesehen war alles Top. Wir werden das Hotel bei unserer nächsten Köln-Fahrt wieder in die Engere Wahl nehmen für unseren Aufenthalt

Von Preis und Sternezahl her deutlich überbewertet
Scheinbar war die Buchung unseres Doppelzimmers verlorengegangen. Wir bekamen zwar ein Doppelzimmer im 3. OG, das aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen war. Die Ausstattung und Verfliesung des Bads entspricht den 1970er Jahren. An der Wand im Bad war eine deutliche, lange Schmutzspur. Der Fernseher hatte nur wenige nutzbare Programme, ein Telefon war nicht vorhanden. Insgesamt von Preis und Sternezahl her deutlich überbewertet.

Wir sind auf das Zimmer gekommen und tappten im dunklen, Licht im Zimmer ist kaputt gewesen. Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Badezimmereinrichtung in die Jahre gekommen.Zimmer ist sauber gewesen. Frühstück war sehr gut , ausreichend Auswahl.
