"My wife and I come there every few years to celebrate our anniversary. The view of the harbor, Empress, and Parliament buildings is unparalleled. The new walking path to downtown is very nice and provides a good work out to complement the nice vegan food options in the restaurant at Ocean Pointe. The exercise room is very nice. Hot tub is good, maybe a bit noisy from kids in the pool but thats part of being at a public resort."

"We have an amazing stay at The Vic! Amenities like the gaming room, gym, pool are all accommodating and our whole family enjoyed it very much especially the ping pong. The pool have lots of toys to use for the guests. The reception desk and all staff are very helpful, friendly and personable. Thank you! The rooms are clean, comfy bed The hotel is easy access to most amazing tourist spots in Victoria like the Downtown, Inner harbour, Chinatown and more! We'll definitely book here again on our next visit!"

"The room was pleasant and clean, nothing special but fine for the price. There was a small balcony on the room but the sliding access door was noisy and difficult to use. We enjoyed the convenient walking access to downtown Victoria. One of the hotel clerks we dealt with was pleasant and accommodating, the other not so much. Parking was OK, a little challenging for a full-size crew cab pickup but manageable. I would stay there again on my next trip to Victoria."

"Very comfortable king bed! Excellent cleaning standards, and the large tub filled very quickly. Everything functioned as expected, and the views from the upstairs guest rooms are expansive, featuring the marina and Saanich Inlet views beyond the lush garden and pool area. The pub was great, and obviously very popular with the community, as well as hotel guests, featuring a wide range of very tasty dishes on a menu that changes regularly. Breakfast in the Arbutus Room offered great choices and an inspiring view. Dinner in the Arbutus room was delicious, and Adriano the sommelier enhanced our meal with some excellent and affordable wine options. The marina services are well-rounded. We took a couples boat tour, and our guide Archie was superb. The water shuttle to Butchart Gardens is a great way to access this outstanding historical site. We saw many SUP and kayak paddlers leaving from the marina. It's a great place to paddle, with calm water and plenty of sites. The spa services are well-organized. The spa lounge offers a spot to relax by a fireplace or on the deck of the pool area, which is lovely. The couples massage was excellent. If you're looking for a getaway venue that offers all of the above in one location, this is it. Very personable staff. We'll return someday. "
