"It’s a small room by USA standards, but a great value. My room was clean, the shower hot, AND they offered me an upgrade (I don’t know why). Bonus mirror by the bed! Some noise from other rooms and the bar. It’s in a working neighborhood, but you can walk two blocks to Mercado Santa Rosa for breakfast, fruit, and early dinner. "Basic hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff and cold beer. We had a devil of a time finding the place because the google maps placement is way off. In the end we flagged down a trike driver and followed him through town to the place! There was a rocking kids birthday party when we arrived. I think they may have even had a clown. Anyway, I give Qallwa two thumbs up and would go out of my way to stay again. "

"La vue sur la montagne est magnifique et les chambres très propres et lits confortables. Les nuits sont froides mais on nous a offert une chauferette portative très utile. Si il y avait un tapis au plancher ce serait encore mieux. Le stationnement est sécuritaire et le village très calme. J’avais réservé une nuit et je suis resté e plus d’une semaine. Le canyon du Colca regorge de site à visiter (gratuit en plus) et le soleil est toujours au rendez-vous"
