"A nice hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms, what the hotel fails to tell you is there is ongoing construction with over half of the hotel covered in scaffolding. There is workers walking up and down the hallways from 0800-1600, in the lift which is small, walking through reception, the carpark is full of construction equipment so you have to park across the road that cost £10 a day. What annoyed me was the lack of information on the construction and the parking. It would be a 5 Stars if it wasn’t for the construction and the lack of information about the construction."

"We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Hazel was a fantastic host and we were fortunate enough to meet her and had a lovely chat. The cottage was beautiful and the view of the Beauly Firth was amazing. We saw a few otters and a seal. Having parking just across the street was great too. We highly recommend the cottage!"

"My husband and I stayed here for a few days as we finished up a UK trip. We both agree it was our favorite part of our trip. There are many things to do in the vast area surrounding Inverness and we both loved coming back to this cozy spot in the evenings. It is so beautiful and peaceful. We cooked a couple of meals there and stayed in to just read and enjoy the views. Would 100% recommend this place and the host."

"We had a bucket list golf trip for a group of 12 with Abalone as our home base. The house and setting were perfect for our group to have gathering space and privacy. The hot tub was a welcome addition and the fire pit was the perfect centerpiece to reflect on our adventures. Emma was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Abalone was a home away from home and I hope we can make our way back for a future adventure."

"We had a wonderful week at this cottage. Beautifully furnished and decorated. It provided everything we needed, including wonderful homemade bread and macaroons. It was close enough to Inverness but also ideal for us to head further north. We were returning to an area I grew up in and it will be a cottage we will definitely return to in the future."
