Beautiful small town feel. Family like atmosphere, the rooms were extremely clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. Easy bus route into Inverness or close enough by taxi to not cost a fortune. Complimentary breakfast was amazing unlike just the continental offered at most big chain hotels. Highly recommend it if you plan on touring the area

It might not look like much from the outside, but our room was extremely nice and everything was very clean. The location is quiet and if you have a car, then it's very near to everywhere you might want to visit. It was the perfect location for us. Staff were friendly.

The Smithton Hotel was such a perfect place! It’s small, family owned and they stayed up late to let us in when our flight was delayed. The bed was SO comfortable! The breakfast was DELICIOUS! It was so quaint and close to the airport but convenient to get to town. The owner was so very nice. I would stay here again & again!

First night was a little rough due to noise from the down stairs bar but Peter the owner made quick to change our room so if noise is an issue nedd only to ask they are very accommodating, not much within walking distance though so prepare to tracel a bit but overall a nice stay

Great wee place, I was up early and away both mornings so sadly didn’t have breakfast but both mornings the team went out of their way to offer to make something for the road. Great service and extremely friendly.

Outside is a little worn, but inside is clean and updated. Not handicap friendly. Too many stairs and they were narrow and steep. Bedding was great, room amenities were ok (no blow dryer provided). Rooms are upstairs and a little stuffy with no a/c. Dining was a little slow but good. Great staff and very friendly.
