"I stayed here for a couple of nights, and the price and location were very convenient for my business trip. The stay was comfortable and offered great value for what I needed. I would definitely stay here again, whether for future business trips or a family getaway."

"Love the charm of the King George. It is convenient to shops and restaurants. The only issue is the slow elevator. The stairs are fun because they go straight up, But you could not get your luggage up the elevator. Minor inconvenience, but something to note."

"Great spot to stay in SF, quite centrally located on Geary. Rooms are super comfortable and well decorated and the staff was extremely helpful. There is free coffee downstairs in the library in the morning, which is also a great spot to do a little reading. The attached restaurant and bar is quite small but it was nice to get a free drink voucher on check in. The only downside is the proximity to some slightly seedier areas a block down on O’Farrell. On the other hand there is a nice little market across the street for any things you might need and there are a few nice bars just a block west on Geary, as well as some cool restaurants and bars north of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel, although in a rough part of the city, was clean and safe. There was a security guard inside the entrance to ensure only guests went inside the lobby. The room was very small but it was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and responded quickly to requests for toilet paper, tissues, laundry bag and extra towels. They also have complimentary breakfast. The bottled water in the room was not complimentary. They have an ice and water station on each floor, by the elevators, and cups. There is no parking garage but you can park overnight in a garage about a block away for $40 a night. It was perfect for a one night stay after a concert at a venue three long blocks away, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The a/c unit worked well."
