The perfect cottage

Lovely cosy cottage with wood burning stove
We were there in January so the wood burning stove was essential. The bedrooms are small and very cosy and the cottage was well equipped with casseroles, oven trays and all essentials for cooking

Lovely Cotswolds Excursion
The cottage was beautifully locely and cozy. We enjoyed reading and playing family games by the wood burning stove. We felt very at home in the cottage and the community was incredibly friendly, esp at the local pub. The location was fab for exploring and going on walks. A local garden was so quaint and within walking distance. Excellent experience!

Just a small problem. I think there was a hornets nest nearby. I bend down to pick up something but
I think there was a hornets nest. I picked up a black thing off the floor and it bit me. We found two more afterwards. shut windows after that !

Wonderful Cottage!
We ended a 3 week holiday here and it was exactly what we needed! It was relaxing, nicely stocked and in a wonderful village. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back to spend more time here!

Beautiful Home in the Cotswolds
This was a wonderful location in central Cotswolds. The property was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed lunching on the upper patio, sipping the Proseco and eating the chocolates the hosts left for us. We visited the Pub, a short walk from the property, a few times for drinks and dinner. Michelle gave us a great suggestion to visit the Cerney estate Gardens just a short walk across the highway. On oue way to the garden we stopped at the little church across the road, it was built in the 1400s and is worth a stop. From this location it was easy visiting many of the quaint villages in the area. We particularly enjoyed Glastonbury, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was good sized, well stocked and easy to work in. I would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful cottage in the Cotswolds
The cottage is the absolute epitome of Cotswold cottage charm. The garden beds in front are gorgeous and the home is so warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in the perfect location for doing a circular road trip through the smaller villages as well as a day trip south to Bath and Stonehenge. We highly recommend the pub down the street. We ate there twice during our stay.

Beautiful cottage designed for rest and relaxation
This was our second stay at no.32 and it didn’t disappoint at all. Beautifully decorated and with a generous selection of goodies on arrival, you feel away from it all as soon as you walk in. It’s location is great for exploring more of the Cotswolds and this time we did a fabulous circular walk around Bibury which we would really recommend. Obviously, don’t forget to make time for a trip to the Bathurst Arms. Thank you again! Definitely one of our favourite places to escape to.

Lovely cottage in the Cotswolds
The cottage was in a great location to get to the lovely villages in the Cotswolds. It is in a small village with a local pub within walking distance. There is a beautiful wood burner in the comfortable lounge. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Very peaceful location.

Amazing!
The cottage was adorable and cozy. It was exactly what I’d hoped. Picturesque Cotswold cottage. They even had a few Christmas lights up which made it even more cozy. It was clean and the owners were quite helpful with suggestions of where to eat. My son loved playing ping pong in the back yard. If I’m lucky enough to visit again I will definitely stay here!

Loved our stay here. Total wind down. Thoroughly enjoyed the log fire and very comfy beds. Boys loved the ping pong table. Gorgeous setting with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Shame we had to leave!

We had a lovely weekend in this quaint, very comfortable and well equipped cottage. North Cerney is a lovely little village with a great pub. Shan sent really clear arrival and property information before we arrived, and all was exactly as noted in the listed. We had a great time and hope to return.

Nice place yo stay. Lovely back garden.
Close to Cirencester in the car. Spacious living area. Wardrobes a little dated. Doors upstairs could be improved as you have to slam them shut so it disturbed my in laws and sister.

This beautiful cottage was a dream; the pictures do not do it justice. My teenage daughter and I were looking for a quiet, Cotswold village experience and this cottage delivered on it and then some. If I could have persuaded the owners to sell it to me on the spot, I would have bought it. The village of North Cerney is small but very conveniently located just off the main road that runs between Cirencester and Cheltenham, so it's easy to get anywhere. The village is cute and full of traditional stone cottages and this is just one, set back from a stone-walled narrow road. We woke every day and threw open the curtains to listen to the abundant birds chirping and onto our view of the rose garden in front. Making our tea and coffee in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, we'd head up to the patio off the upstairs back room and sit and watch those birds flying from tree to tree in the absolutely idyllic garden. Around 8am, the kids start arriving to the primary school next door and the sound of children laughing and saying goodbye to their parents is wonderful; don't worry about being next to a school it was lovely. In the evening, we ate our dinners on the patio and played table tennis, although the downstairs dining area was cozy and perfect for family dining too. At night, we slept with windows open and enjoyed the absolute silence of the village. Just magic. I loved the 1/2 and 1/2 farmhouse doors and the old-fashioned windows; we'd open everything and let the flower-scented breeze fly through the house every day. Our experience here was nothing short of magical, including the owners who were very responsive by phone and text when we had questions and even paid us a visit to check on us the first evening we arrived. Lovely people, lovely village, lovely cottage. We wish we could have stayed longer, were sad to leave, and will definitely be back. Definitely my best experience with a vacation rental ever.

What a beautiful cottage this was! Even though we did day trips each day we were there, we would always feel as though we returned home at the end of the day. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. We particularly loved the gardens and the terrace upstairs. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Perfect cottage and position to experience the Cotswolds.
Everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. Comfortable, clean and cosy. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of logs for the log burner. Local pub is worth a visit or two, especially Sunday lunch. Walking on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Beautiful property, set in a perfect location
As soon as we arrived at this property we instantly loved it, the village it was located in was beautiful and the property itself was stunning inside and out! It was so homely and peaceful! We meet Howard on arrival and he was so warm and welcoming, he was happy to help with any questions or advice we needed. The local village pub had the most amazing beer garden with a river running through the bottom of it and the food was amazing as well. We would definitely stay in the property again!

Everything was as described and perfectly clean too. Lovely extra touches of bread, butter, milk, juice, chocolates and fizz. The bed ans pillows were comfy, the outside area was perfect for us , we used the bbq and sat outside in the evening, it was gorgeous. We went to the nearby Bathurst pub for dinner one night, absolutely gorgeous. Howard was super friendly and gave us great pointers for our day trip to Bath, as well as other suggestions. I would absolutely stay here again it’s very peaceful and well kitted out. Loved our stay.

No.32 the perfect package for a Cotswold getaway!
From the moment we arrived in North Cerney at No.32 we felt relaxed and at home. The cottage is beautifully decorated with simple touches that added to the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. The log fire was laid on arrival and we certainly made full use of it! The surrounding countryside did not disappoint either with several decent walks throughout the hills and villages - be sure to visit Broadway. The local pub is moments away and the staff were very friendly. Overall we had a great start to the new year and would certainly recommend this idyllic bolthole.

Beautiful cottage in a great location
From booking our stay at Number 32 to our departure our experience was fantastic. The cottage was perfect, beautifully furnished and very well equipped with everything of very good quality. Shân the property manager welcomed us on our arrival and had left supplies in the cottage such as a bottle of bubbly, butter, orange juice, milk and biscuits which was a very thoughtful gesture. Although the cottage was right next door to their home we were given privacy for our entire stay and had use of the cottages own patio area but also their lovely garden, including being able to help ourselves to fruit from their numerous trees. We loved spending cosy evenings curled up by the wood burner for which we had an endless supply of logs for. The cottage is situated in a little quiet and peaceful village with a good pub only a 5 minute walk away which was an added bonus. The lovely town of Cirencester is only a 15 - 20 minute drive away where you can find supermarkets such as Waitrose and Tesco, as well as lots of independent shops, etc. Bourton on the Water is well worth a visit, as is Stow on the Wold. We really enjoyed our stay at number 32 and hope to return again one day. Thank you Shân and Howard for making our stay so memorable. X
