Located at 634 Monmouth St., our studio apartment in our little boutique hotel, is 3 blocks to the Northern Kentucky riverfront (Newport on the Levee), or a 20-minute walk to downtown Cincinnati/ REDS games. Surrounded by great restaurants, nightlife, and family activities. Close to aquarium, stadiums, shopping.

Two newer music venues recently added: MegaCorp and Brady. Both within walking distance!!

You’ll love the ambiance, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood, the people! It will all give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!

Free Parking! Parking lot is located at 634 Orchard St, directly behind the inn. This unit has one spot only!

A large, screened porch with comfy furniture and eating area. We are always a phone call away, but we are often at our Urban Chick Bar and Bottle Shop (part of
the building), and we live only 5 minutes away.

We concentrate on cleanliness, great beds and great bathrooms. As well as extraordinary service!

Do Historic Newport right and experience all this little town with the big city has to offer. From nightlife to museums and cultural destinations to world-class eateries and sporting events, there won’t be a dull moment during your stay with us, unless you just want to take in the quiet and relax!

The owners went above and beyond, we were so pleased with everything. My wife and I stayed just one night and loved everything, location, communication, cleanliness, accommodations. We stayed in Room 5 - a compact, cozy space with all amenities needed for a short stay - comfy bed, nice shower, kitchenette with snacks and coffee. We liked being behind the Unique Chic Boutique and enjoyed a drink with some nice people. Would stay here again.

This was an amazing place to stay. We were there for a baseball game and found hotels to be expensive near the ball park, but a short walk over the bridge to the next state brought us to this Gem. Just across from the parking is an amazing place to eat, as well as several places on the main street.

Loved everything about this property. From the high volted ceilings to the spacious shower. The original brick and tin ceiling was so beautiful. The Newport Inn supplies everything needed for a short, or longer stay. The kitchenette allows in room dining or prepare a snack and move to the cozy porch which has more seating available. A variety of restaurants, microbreweries, and such are a short walk away. We walked to and from a Reds night game with no issues whatever and Riverboat Row and the Newport Aquarium are close by.

Cozy Apt in Heart of Newport

We came for an overnight stay and were delighted with everything. Quiet and private, located in back of a store on Monmouth, within easy waliking distance to Newport Levee. The room was clean, bed comfy, and the shower out this world. There's also a great sitting porch for enjoying afternoon tea. Great communication from owners, and we appreciated the little details such as complimentary snacks. It's clear that they care very much about creating a welcoming experience for their guests. Highly recommended.

Great Getaway!

For our 2nd wedding anniversary I got us tickets to a Red Sox v Reds game as my husband is a huge Red Sox fan but Boston is a little far 😊 I thought we could make a day of it and stay the night. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations! Beautiful, clean room with incredible charm and everything we could need! Communication with the host(s) was impeccable! Jeff and Terri were so super friendly and helpful. They responded very quickly to any message we sent them. There's not a lot of things real close to do, but Newport on the Levee is about a 6 minute walk away. We went to the Reds game and, since we're out of shape, we were pretty tired when we got back to the room. We went to Smale Park by the stadium and it was beautiful. There is a lot of steps though. That explains why we were so tired. Will definetly stay there again if we can.

Third Year In A Row

This was my third year in a row staying at the Newport Inn for a Bengals game. I will be coming back for a forth time. I love this place. Easy walking distance to Paycor Stadium and the neighborhood surrounding the Newport Inn is jam packed with one of a kind unique restaurants, sports bars and Newport on the Levee just blocks away. The shower and the bed are worth ten stars alone. Love the high ceilings and original brick as well. This place has charisma (if it is possible for a building to have charisma)!
