A fantastic house!
We have just returned from a family weekend staying in this wonderful property. It is spotlessly clean and furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The owners have thought of everything. All the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable with plenty of bathrooms to avoid queues! The kitchen has everything you need and the dining area is impressive! The location in the heart of Christchurch is perfect - right next door to the Priory. We walked from the house to Hengistbury Head and back using the little ferry boat to cross the river - a lovely walk.
The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a lovely touch. Thank you. We'd really like to come back!
All very smooth, the arrival instructions were received in good time before our visit and were very comprehensive. The property was excellent and enjoyed by all our group. We also enjoyed Christchurch which none of us had visited before. We were also lucky with the weather.
One of the best we have ever rented, although a few minor niggles. Spacious accommodation for 8 adults and 5 small children within easy walking distance of Christchurch town centre , the quay, parks and the magnificent Priory church with its regular bell ringing
Cambray family
We’ve had the most amazing weekend in this outstanding, luxurious, fantastic property. Everything about the house has just added to a really perfect weekend. 13 of us from the ages of 13 through to 88 have enjoyed the location, the garden, all the lovely spacious bedrooms and most of all the meals we’ve had around the huge dining table. We would all love to come back again next year.

Lovely character house ideally suited for a group
Good customer service providing excellent, accurate and useful property details before arrival.
In a very good location, quiet but near the town, the house is well maintained, clean and very well furnished.
A day trip to Mudeford Sandbank via the ferry with time spent on the beach went down well with three generations as did a walk on Hengistbury Head.
Highly recommend this property for any group, same age or mixed generations.

What A Find
We stayed here as a large group for a week over the New Year period. We have been coming to Christchurch for 25+ years as a family and this place is the most impressive we have stayed in. Very comfortable , incredibly well equipped and homely.
One of the best features has to be the location, right in the middle of Christrchuch and close to our favourite bar/restaurant which was 2 minutes walk away, what is not to like! Great to just park the car on the property and leave it for the week.
Will definitely be coming back if we can find an excuse to!

Lovely spacious house, perfect for a family get together
Lovely, high quality, spacious house, perfect for a family get together. We spent a weekend here, with family members from age 3 to 91 , and the house suited everyones needs. The downstairs bedroom is perfect for older people who struggle with stairs. The kitchen is well equipped , and dinning area great for a big family meal. The position of the house is handy for a walk into town , or the river.
We had a great time here and hopefully will make it a regular destination for future get togethers.

Absolutely lovely!
We rented the property for a weekend for my dad's surprise 80th birthday party. We all loved the house - lots of space and lovely rooms for everyone. Great communal spaces for having a family dinner and relaxing weekend. The location was excellent as well - lots of lovely thing to do and see nearby and right next to the beautiful Abbey and Quay. The house was extremely smart and clean and there was a lovely welcome basket and beautiful flowers, which made a really nice impression on arrival. Caroline was very helpful and quick to respond to requests and queries. Thank you for a lovely weekend. We would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic for family get together
Great location. Lots of space and worked well accommodating 4 generations of family to celebrate 60th birthday. Clean and beautifully decorated,
One thing that might be useful to help sort rubbish to recycle would have been thicker black bin liners as the one provided split when carrying out rubbish . Kitchen role too would have been useful .
Welcome hamper and flowers were a lovely surprise and helped it feel like s special occasion
We had a fantastic weekend thank you .

The house was lovely although the overall cleanliness could have been better.
We had a lovely week celebrating two 70th and one 21st birthday. The weather was fantastic. The house was nice but could have been maintained slightly better. Several of the door handles were coming off, the extractor fan in the disabled shower room was either always on (the first few days) or always off (the latter part of the week). There was dog mess in the garden from the previous occupants which we removed and some of the bins in the rooms had not been emptied. The kitchen in particular needed dusting as there were cobwebs around the windows. Only slight issues but we felt for the price of the property these should have been sorted. These were mentioned to the gardener who came on the Friday morning at 9.00 as the last of us were leaving.
We did have cause to call about a particulary bad leak in the main bathroom which was causing brown staining on the ceiling and down the walls and we stopped using that bathroom because of this.
It is a lovely house and the space was brilliant for all our different families. If all these niggles had been sorted I would have given it 5stars!

Lovely holiday home!
Quay House is a lovely large family house, 6 lovely large bedrooms, and great social areas. Its location is perfect, walking distance from both the town with pubs and restaurants, and the quay, and plenty of places to visit. Great place for a large family gathering.

Great family 80th celebration
Cosy but also spacious for the whole family. Could have done with an extra bathroom but you cannot have everything. Beautifully decorated and everything you needed in the kitchen area. Family loved it. Easy key arrangement and plenty,of space for the cars.

Very nice. Plenty of room and we were a party of 14.
The house is in a perfect position for access to the quay and is very accessible for the high street. The house has been well looked after and excellent facilities for our large family gathering to all sit round the table together, both inside and outside on the patio. Being of an age where we have a bus pass, Christchurch is served fantastically well for public transport with up to 18 buses per hour going into Bournemouth.

Stunning property in an ideal location
A beautiful property that is extremely well appointed with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The location is perfect and we loved hearing the church bells from the house.
The property is an ideal base for exploring but also provides a lovely retreat to relax. It was perfect for our celebration and I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful property in a great location. The inside matches your first impression from the outside.
The property is stunning. Such a great location too. On the edge of the town, but easily within walking distance of both the town itself and shops and restaurants and also the river and water activities.
The inside is superb and all the bedrooms are good sizes and the main bathroom is gorgeous.
We had the house for a long weekend with the family including four young boys and they loved the playroom on the top floor.
We went to The Thomas Tripp for our evening meal on Saturday and the food and service was brilliant. They accommodated eight adults and four children really well and without fuss.
