Chobe Safari Lodge

8/10 Good
"Overall I enjoyed the hotel, staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, but they need a refresh. The rooms were old, worn. I did love the balcony and view of the watering hole (fun to see the many animals), the bed was comfortable, linens soft. We went to the Bomba show hosted at this property. Would highly recommend, food and show were great! Worth it."

Sunbirds Lodge Chobe

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful garden, birds everywhere, we stayed in the villa and the garden room. Both were amazing. Staff goes above and beyond, friendly, excellent at their jobs, very hardworking. Breakfast included in our rate and included a cold food buffet and made-to-order hot food. Dinner for us was an extra cost but prices reasonable and portions huge-we were able to take away for the next day’s lunch. Do take advantage of their excellent laundry service - back the same day sometimes within hours. Super reasonably priced. Very easy to locate and close to several grocery stores, ATMs, and gas stations. We recommend a car if you are staying awhile (we stayed 7 days) as nothing is walkable. We had four tours booked efficiently by Grace and recommend them all highly - Impalila Island in Namibia, Chobe Sunset Ride, Victoria Falls transport, and birding with Stone, who was an encylopedia of birding knowledge. In three days of birding at the lodge and one birding tour, we logged 39 new ones for our life list. Highly recommend! If we’re were to return to Kasane, we would absolutely stay here again."

"We are a retired couple travelling from Zambia through Botswana to South Africa and I am happy that we found this online. Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge & Camp site

10/10 Excellent
"The staff are wonderful, attentive, charming and incredibly helpful. The game drive's were fantastic with the guide brilliantly knowledgeable, patient and excellent at finding animals to view - we saw a pride of lions relaxing after a hunt, giraffes, zebu, antelope, hippos, baboons, naughty monkeys and hundreds and hundreds of elephants. The best part of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge apart from the staff is the watering hole. We had breakfast and dinner overlooking the watering hole watching families of elephants visit, drink, play and depart as well as many bull elephants exerting their dominance. Absolutely magical. "
